Glad Sofiane has gone, offered absolutely nothing throughout! Dillon had some talents, but he wasn't at all adaptable. He was a little screwed over by Sofiane putting him in the wrong team though. Don't think he was in with a shot of winning the whole thing though so not a great problem that he's gone.

Of the final 6, I reckon it'll be Alana to win, beating Trishna in the final. Jessica to get kicked out during the interviews because she's FUCKING INSANE.

I didn't feel the ideas were THAT bad. They both needed loads of work doing to them, obviously, but the game premise for both had a bit of potential. Particularly the badger game, although the name needed looking at...

They made a game in like a couple of hours! They're not developers ffs, they're idiots with suits. Be fair!

It's still possible to achieve complexity and make the game fun even with the constraints of time, though. The badger game would have been infinitely more fun if the badger was on a timer and you had to dodge obstacles, rather than search for clues.

The underwater game was basically Bejeweled or Candycrush. I would hope that if I was buying a VR game it would have more depth than a game you could host on Facebook.

There wasn't any way to build on what you had done so there was no addictiveness. Think about how most decent games work, there's an element of progression in there that keeps you hooked. Whether it's buying new and better equipment, having a top score to beat or anything like that. I just think that they didn't really think hard enough about how to make a game play well. They needed to have a think about some good games and figure out how they work so well, so they could incorporate that thinking into their own games, perhaps on a more basic level.

Lol why are you analysing it so much? It's not Britain's Next Games Developer, it's the fucking Apprentice which is just full of a load of idiots captured in All Bar One and forced to compete in all kinds of stupid tasks for money.

WHY CAN'T YOU JUST ENJOY IT

Jessica's my favourite but I can't see her winning. I'm surprised so many people like Alana, she seems pretty uninspiring to me (although so do most of the others, to be honest). I'd make Trishna the favourite.

I was a bit surprised Dillon got fired this week, he's not the kind of ruthlessness that Lord Sugar loves, but he does have the kind of complementary skills that would make them a good partnership.

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
Jessica is from a small town called Dronfield next door to my town. Consequnetly our local rag made mention of it and that she and Courtney got it on together. Been some interesting characters in it this year. I think Trishna will win, she seems to have her shit together.

Nice font.

I think she has a good chance, she seems quite level headed but assertive. She is kinda hot as well, just not Jess hot. Courtney annoys me, he is such a boring pathetic human.

She speaks *exactly* like my uni pal from Disley, so it's disappointing to hear she's from miles away (aweeh).

Good call :err:

Courtney's dodged another bullet, he must the worst candidate ever to get this far.

How in the name of fuck did they get thousands of orders for a gin with a terrible name, 'story', branding and didn't taste like the flavour it was meant to be?

Surprised Grainne survived, Trishna seemed to be the stronger candidate throughout the process and even on last night's task. How do you not keep the phone to the sub-team on you? Loved how one team tasted and spat out the gin, whilst Grainne and Trishna just started necking it. No idea how Courtney lasted this long, hope Alana wins it now.

At last, interviews. :D

Thing is with Courtney, he keeps winning dunt he. Alana just about the strongest I think. She's pretty good. They're all pretty much shit, but she at least seems to have a touch of integrity about her. I get the feeling Jessica is just going to be a train wreck in the interviews

Courtney does keep winning, which is more or less the only reason he's still in. How much of his success is down to him and not down to the others in his team is open for debate. I thought the girls saved his arse last night to be honest.

I don't think it's even open to debate as he is appaling.

I think Courtney's quite good to be honest. He just can't pitch for shit. From the small snippets you see that aren't completely edited to make them look like knobs, he seems quite screwed on.

There's no stand out candidate though so it's hard to pick a winner. The fact that Francis is still there with that losing record means Sugar must like her business plan so I'd tip her to get through to the final. I like Alana but I don't see her making it through the interviews. Not sure Courtney will either.

Grianne or Jessica for the other spot is hard to call.

No-one (including Sugar) gets to see the business plans before the interview stages.

Haha. Yeah, got that wrong. I think she'd been great up until that last show and she's better than any of the remaining candidates. I seem to remember that in the final episode when some of the others come back to help, the finalists have to do a pitch. Dunno if that's always the case, but if Courtney makes the final he's fucked it. He needs to be doing coke, not weed before his next pitch.

Trishna let herself down by having a bad attitude and conning Francis into phoning Grianne, obviously character traits that Sugar has no time for, I don't blame him as it isn't the type of person I'd ever have any desire to enter business with.

I cant believe that. I mean the whole system is a bit flawed really. Someone might have had the best business plan in the world, and then gets fired in the first round as others team up on that person.

Surely he knows the plans, as he wants to make money out of it. Any idea how the winner last year is getting on?
