PMQ's was good today.

Corbyn held himself very well, again.

Cameron is a good at talking. Talking bollocks is his forte.

Tories laughing at a hardworking woman with a disabled son who is going to struggle now because of the loss of tax credits.

Well he was in PR before becoming an MP so i expect nothing else but lies and spin from ol' shiny face, did anyone else notice his face go red when asked about workers losing tax credits?

No he wasn't. Call Me Dave's first and only job in the real world was as Director of Corporate Affairs at media company Carlton Communications (now ITV plc), from 1994 to 2001.
It wasn't a PR job, because Carlton didn't let graduates with no prior experience do PR. As is common with graduates, he started as a Director of a FTSE100 company.
Please be respectful and remember that Call Me Dave is an "ordinary bloke" and that it took a lot of work by his then girlfriend's mummy to get him that first job.

Yes. He had no answer because he knows full well he is wrong with his numbers. Trying to argue that his increase in the amount you can earn before being taxed and this mythical 'living wage' (that won't come into place) is going to mean people are better off is ridiculous. Person A loses £40 a week in tax credits but only ends up £20 a week better off from tax breaks and an increase in wages. It isn't hard to work out that this person is not better off.

He never answers questions directly which means he's a very intelligent liar. It really annoys me.

Corbyn's 'eye' to the Labour back bench when heckled by them was brilliant.

The laughing and sniggering Tories are vile.

The perils of quoting someone out of context.

Yeah, this is pretty poor form really. Not in the least bit surprised that the gutter press go for this sort of angle but I'd actually expect a bit more decorum from a PM. Actually pretty embarrassing given it's such a disingenuous line of attack.

The only time you can be absolutely certain a politician is lying is when their lips move.

Hey now Hertsy, this is the 21st century, you can tell they're lying when they're punching in 140 characters or less now too.

I have it on good authority that their lips are moving while they type furiously: "140, 139, 138, 137, 136, 130-errrrr, 130-ummmm, ...."

I thought Corbyn did okay again at PMQs but Cameron is handling him quite well. He's certainly not going on the attack - obviously quite happy to let others (and the media) do it for him.

Angus Robertson is so fucking punchable.

I am puzzled. I am considering a subscription to the Daily Telegraph, but I am not entirely sure of their position on the supremely evil monster Jeremy Corbyn. Looking back through the articles each day since - and I can barely bring myself to type this man's name without upsetting my elderly relatives in Chipping Campden - Jeremy Corbyn's election as Leader of the Labour Party, it really isn't clear whether they are for or against him.

It is true that on the 8th October, the Telegraph found space in an article on Rod Stewart's love of train sets to roundly criticise him, and even in articles on mens fashion, but other than that I don't see a pattern.

Surely the Daily Telegraph, of all people, can see the threat Jeremy Corbyn poses to Western civilisation?

Yeah but what I want to know is does Jeremy Corbyn like Marmite? His answer will define him in the eyes of the electorate.

Jesus, they'll stop at nothing.

Looks like there might be a small scale rebellion among some of the tory backbench over tax credits. A couple have openly said it's unfair
Hope The Lords have the bottle to carry out their threat to kick this out on Monday, they can legally do this because it wasn't in the tory manifesto and twice at least on live tv Cameron claimed he wouldn't touch tax credits and that's why he got a lot of workers votes who regret that now after being plainly lied to.

Well, who's laughing now? The Tories seemed to believe Corbyn becoming Labour leader would make things easier for them... WRONG!

The Tories seem to be falling apart.

What has any of it got to do with Corbyn?

I think a lot of it has to do with the pressure he's putting on them to do with certain things. I couldn't have seen Miliband putting the same kind of pressure on Cameron regarding the tax credit farce as Corbyn did last week during PMQ's.

I think his appointment has also got a lot of younger people (19-24's) talking about politics and realising that a lot of people in this country are being totally fucked by the existing self serving government that have quite clearly duped far too many voters.

Well, who's laughing now? The Tories seemed to believe Corbyn becoming Labour leader would make things easier for them... WRONG!

The Tories seem to be falling apart.

Pre election Cameron inferred that tax credits wouldn't be changed, although would never stated overtly, but that's now biting him on the backside. As you'd always expect it to do if he (surely knowingly) gave that impression.

Tories themselves are picking up and running with this, which in itself is quite unusual and not something Cameron has had to deal with much down the years. So I'd suspect some changes to the bill will occur in time, certainly come the autumn statement.

Corbyn for his part is too busy sitting on nuclear disarmament lobbies that the PLP is trying to brush under a rug and forget about.

Genuinely don't understand why it's that hard. Just take responsibility as a citizen and register yourself to vote. I've had stuff through the door already inviting me to do so.

While that's true, it's clear that some people will fall through the cracks, and ,looking at the numbers, it's pretty fucking clear who the Tories WANT to fall through the cracks. Another obstacle in the way of 'certain' people voting at the next election. It might only end up being a few % who mess it up, but in a few key marginals.....

Cameron using the word 'delighted' when describing how he feels about taking thousands of pounds a year away from working, poor families. Says it all.
