Interesting table, surprised to see Gillingham so low

Didn't realize it was quite that bad at Bradford though, bleedin' hell

We've drawn quite a few recently after a decent spell. But yeah, ruddy heck Bradford what are you guys playing at?

I believe the expression is downing tools, last night was the first game it looked like they've tried since 1st Jan.

Oyston FC v Cods

Both teams now safe from the dreaded just the mere matter of bragging rights left to play for. For the Cods it would be very nice to get our first win. Have lots of sympathy for the majority of Blackpool fans who will not be attending the game due to their stance against the current owner. Having followed the long running saga closely, at times it has been comical, traumatic, soul / club destroying for them. Hopefully they will soon get their club back, but the damage it has caused could be generational.
I am just grateful that in our chairman, Andy Pilley, we have a man who had/has a vision not for himself but for the club and community.

Didn't know where to put this.

Bradford fans -- why has Claret & Banter closed, and where will the new site be? A bit odd granted, but I lurk there sometimes. Taken an interest in your lot after the two play-off meetings; interesting to get an insider's perspective as the two clubs seem to run in similar divisions and cycles.

Cheers.

The guy Ed who runs it couldn’t be arsed renewing the servers or something. People offered to take over but he was adamant that it would just be closing. To be fair I’ve been there for years and it’s gone downhill recently, there seemed to be an influx of keyboard warriors which is fine when it’s going well but since the start of the year it got toxic on there.

No idea on a new site, think a few crept up so I guess they will battle it out and a dominant one will emerge. #bcafc hashtag on twitter is probably your best bet at the moment although it’s also a disgrace.

Think MK Dons will beat us today, our players aren’t the most motivated bunch and will think it’s time to get on the beach

I thought it was shutting in June, but he must have brought it forward. As Bantamigo said it went down the hill quite a bit in the last year or so, but still a shame as there were still decent posters knocking about and you could get useful info. If you go on C & B there are 3 links at the bottom with links to the new alternative, I think Bantam talk will probably be the new main one.

I can't get on any at work unfortunately so probably just Twitter for me from now on.

Argyle denied a stonewall penalty just before ht. Unbelievable! Not even the most blue tinted Pompey fan could argue it.

Interestingly our commentators immediately said they thought it was a dive!

Sounds like a fairly even game so far?

Big game for us tonight, a must win really with no other teams around us playing.

A win tonight would move us into 5th place going into the weekend against an out of form Scunthorpe at The Valley on the same day Plymouth play Pompey and Rotherham head to Wigan. Win our next two and we are potentially within a point of Rotherham in 4th.

Next two games are a big opportunity for us to stake our claim for the play-offs.

I can’t believe it, we actually won a game. We actually played quite well too. Still don’t think we will make the play offs but nice to be in them

First a comment on Tuesday game Vs Fleetwood. We were the better team and deserved the win but what a strike by Conor McAleny to win it, cracking goal.

To today's game, got the win we deserved after playing well. James Henry, Ryan Ledson and Rob Dickie were excellent today. Simon Eastwood pulled off a couple of cracking saves as did the Southend keeper.

Good atmosphere and good turnout from Southend considering they have nothing to play for.

Back in Bristol for the weekend and thought that was a thoroughly enjoyable game of football. I thought Blackburn looked decent and enjoyed much of the first half, they should have gone 1 up if not for a world class tackle by Lockyer. We ourselves could have scored 1 or 2 ourselves but struggled to actually get the shot off.

2nd half I thought we were the better team and had the more chances. The penalty was hard to tell as I was the other end, but it did look like a penalty. Most people are saying that it was a definite penalty. Unfortunately that was the only decision the referee got right all game. He was absolutely shocking, every decision he could make was wrong. Our goal came at the very death of the game, but what a strike is was and thoroughly deserved.

A game of 2 halves with Blackburn probably shading the full 90 minutes as they were more dominant than we were when we were in control although we certainly didn’t deserve to lose that game, neither team did.

Blackburn were a very honest team I thought, no diving, diving or time wasting at all. They really put in a shift there although unless they improve in the summer I think they’ll struggle in the championship, especially defensively. Last comment on he away fans - great numbers but awful support. First time they sung all game was when they scored, sang for about 10 minutes and then went quiet again, odd one for a promotion party

We were worth the win today. Southend had a couple of chances but they spent large parts of the second half just looking for a red card, which is a good sign of frustration.

Enjoyable, open game though. We can't really play anything other than a diamond, but the limitations of it are pretty clear. I don't for a second believe we are safe yet, and it'll take some more hard work and battling performances to see us over the line.

Although the penalty was for Blackburn though, so clearly I’m totally unbiased :shifty:

Looking very interesting for the play offs between you lot.

I must say, football is so much more enjoyable when you aren’t desperate for a win though

For the record - there have been at least 4 games this season where the referee hasn’t been the reason we didn’t win

Fucking hell it's nice to see some sense for once; your lot all over on Facebook giving it the whole "you had 12 men, diving, cheating bastards", very strange. Draw was the fair result, we were shit and yet again show that we can't defend a one goal lead, lucky to get away with it last week and luck caught up with us yesterday.

Our support is shite cos all the plastics have come back out of the woodwork for their first away game since 2012 so they don't know the songs, the atmosphere has been getting worse as the season goes on and more plastics come out, pisses me off no end  no roof on the terrace didn't help like

You've come across as right Bellend there Rover, you've been bigging the away numbers up all season and then turn on them to justify your response to the atmosphere.
I go quite a few away games always have, but rarely sing, by your logic l'm a plastic.

Actually I thought the Blackburn support was quite good -- In numbers anyway. Draw was a fair result Penalty the right decision. Dack is a bloody good player -- Why was he substituted.? And yes we had to play against the referee some of his decisions were abysmal. I hope you win the league and we join you the season after.
