There are cheaper ones, and with all the addons, are cheaper than the price I paid for my play-off final ticket in 2011 (£41 as opposed to £45). I have to ask though, why are the National League tickets more expensive than the EFL? Last year I paid £26 each (£29 includling addons) for the League Two final.
It's stupid pricing. When we were last at Wembley, we sold out due to loads of locals jumping on the bandwagon - it was great, and they could justify the price because it was a major final.

However, I'd genuinely be too embarrassed to ask a non-Tranmere supporting mate to stump up over £40 for any non-league game of football. It WILL significantly hurt our attendance if we get to the final, Birkenhead is not an affluent place.

I wish the final was at Villa Park or somewhere similar, with £20 tickets (£10 concessions). Wembley is far too big and far too expensive for this type of game.

Rant over.

Told you Daggers-FGR would be a grindfest. Awful game, and it will be again on Sunday.

Done pretty much nothing to dissuade the neutral that the winner comes from the other tie.

Still can't believe we won't give Daggers any seats and I'm worried stadium management is too stubborn to admit their mistake and put it right. Prove me wrong please!
We didn't get any seats in the play offs last year.

Seems to be their segregation plan if away fans get the West Terrace like you did. Can't believe it's police orders and otherwise no excuse.
Was really poor last year, the only bonus being it didn't rain. I seem to remember plenty of FGR fans justifying it saying "anything that gives us an edge".

Dunno, have you seen the ticket prices?!

https://thenationalleague.org.uk/playoffs.php?Tickets#Play_Off

£1 to use your own printer, £3 booking fee, and £41 on top of that. I hate what our national game has become.

It's not going to woo the floating fans, that's for sure. Shall we just stay down here where the ticket prices are sensible?
It's £20 give or take to watch a regular game at Prenton Park.

£40-45 for a playoff final at Wembley will still attract a big crowd and I know plenty of Everton supporters who go to the odd Tranmere game that will be going too.

If we get there we'll still take 18-22k.

Went straight to bed last night after getting back so didn't post, first of all before i talk about the football I need to mention it again the stewards are awful... I slightly understand them trying to get our flag but a few of our fans walked to try and find a bar or get food and past the Dagenham stand who were signing to our fans and shouting certain words at them... Our fans do the same and get dragged out for it, utter joke! Just there for a fight.

Now onto the football, very cagey game on a bumpy pitch, I thought it was a dive when seeing it but I was miles away, but the TV highlights show a touch. We really couldn't get going last night but keeping it 1-1 is a very good result, we have our pitch on Sunday which is perfect for football I think we'll edge it!

Still not seen it but someone said Omar gets clipped and is going down then tries not to clatter the keeper which is the 'dive' bit.

It's a dive. Football is a contact sport. The players barely touched each other. You consider that when defenders shepherd the ball out of play, they're all over the attacker to stop them from getting past and there's very rarely a free kick from that. Yet when two players brush each other and one throws themselves to the floor, that is somehow deemed a foul.

Obviously his word so he could be completely lying but an odd thing to say otherwise.

£45 is steep, but I'm made up it's at Wembley - been too long since we were there

Of course, if Aldershot perform a minor miracle tomorrow then I won't give a monkeys either way

Gonna see if my mate at Ee head office can get any freebies. I wasn't gonna bother him but at 80 quid plus diesel and parking I may chance my arm.

If we get beat on sat and he gets me them I will donate them to a shots supporter on here

Over 8000 tickets sold now, around 300 of them aldershot apparently. With pay on the gate should top 10k.

Sunday will be a lot different, our pitch is much more suited to our preferred style of football. Whether that's a good thing for us or not is up for debate, cos it mean we'll piss about with it in defence a lot more and Daggers will pressure us into mistakes. Even North Ferriby caused us problems at the back at home, defending isn't our strong point, so it wont be a ground out 1-niller.

Over 2000 tickets sold already.

Wow, those Wembley prices with the snide booking fees are £10 more at least than the highest prices were for us at Arsenal!

It's a fucking disgrace. But people will pay it. I did last year and I will this year if we get there. Football fans are mugs, so the fa/nl rob us blind, cos they know they can.

Any idea what sort of gate Tranmere are expecting for the 2nd leg or how ticket sales are going so far? I've been right through this thread but can't find any mention.

Far more than you can fit in your ground at least.

Wow !! Is that just your ticket sales or both of you combined What a huge football club FGR are and so deserving of playing in the Football League.
Doesn't really come into it. Teams would have said similar about us when we nearly got to the Prem.

Brilliant isn't it. At this rate we might top the attendance for last year's silver band festival. When do the merit assessors get round yours to award you league status on audited sales?

I think I'm right in saying the same happened to one of our regulars when we went there, it definitely isn't a one off event

See, I'm not convinced we'll top 10k. Certainly not convinced enough to get all BBB about it. Just imagine how tinpot it looks to teams higher up the pyramid to argue over a few thousand fans, before barely filling half the bottom tier of Wembley. I find it all a bit cringey. Let's just enjoy it, eh?
