Ah right, was under the impression he thought Wigan would go down.

God knows how we're not in the bottom three yet.

We are in big trouble. We just don't look like scoring...at all. Not sure I even remember what scoring a goal is like anymore.

We're going to end the season with 1 goal scored.

Shock horror, the two teams with dreadful owners are already in the bottom 3...can we win the league game if we let you have the cup one?

Derby are a strange case. I thought their summer transfer business was very peculiar as well. You have to wonder if all that money Mel Morris has thrown away on chasing the Premier League dream in the past few seasons is finally catching up with them financially.

As for us we're the opposite, we can score but just can't defend. To be fair I'd prefer it this way than the Derby or Preston way. It's far more entertaining!

Our 11 point season was more entertaining than this!

235 league goals in the past three seasons - it equates to over 1.7 goals a game for the past three seasons.

Pearson has played an absolute blinder ripping that out of the side in just three/four months.

Fawaz must be paying him off to inexplicable **** things up so badly!

Another narrow 1 goal loss. Although unlike our other away games that we were second best, apparently we were the better side tonight and two stupid errors from Bogdan cost us.

I don't understand why Caldwell has changed tactics this season, last season we played attacking fast paced football and if we scored one then we'd push for a second and so often score a quick fire double. This season we score and then go total defence, which is suicidal and costing us. Tonight at 2-0 down after 10 minutes we had to attack and had a lot more possession, more shots and corners than a very good Norwich side away from home, who's keeper seemed to have a very good game unlike ours.

Barnsley and Burton with much weaker squads than us are just attacking teams and having a go, Barnsley have just kept things how they ended last season but for some reason Caldwell has changed our tactics and not playing to our strengths at all. Take out Newcastle and this league is wide open, Huddersfield squad being top is a clear example, many peoples tips to go down.

With an attacking line up of Grigg, Wildschut, Powell, Gomez, Jacobs etc it's clear our strength is going forward. Hopefully today was a wake up call and we can start to turn these 1-0s from defeats to wins. I'd say the old cliche of this squad is far too good to go down but two seasons ago we were favourites for promotion and combination of disastrous management and players not putting effort in saw us go down. If we can have the Gary Caldwell of last season with flexible tactics, changing formation and lineups to nullify the opponent and attacking as much as possible then we'll start to move up the table soon.

It baffles me how far we've gone backwards over the course of the past 6 months.

I'd not be at all surprised to see us in a relegation battle this season.

Really, really, really poor teams would have scored more than one in seven games. In fact, I didn't even think it was possible at a professional level.

It speaks volumes about not only the lack of quality in the team, but the lack of quality in the coaching and management.

I've always hated Derby, but their behaviour over the last couple of years and the self entitlement of their fans (none on here admittedly) has made them so much easier to hate. If I was a neutral I'd hate them, if not for the fact they seem to be even more comical than Forest

We'll let Derby out of this thread on Saturday. After scoring one all season in the league, they will score at least 2 against us. That I can guarantee.

Nah they're wank. They only managed to score against us in the 87th minute thanks to Pringle and we're shit.

We're pretty shite at the back. Lots of individual errors and no clean sheet in the league.

Perfect pick me up for Cardiff this Saturday lunchtime though...

Blackburn are doomed I think based on what I saw the other night. We're no good but apart from a spell when they went behind, they really were lacking. Coming to Elland Road - one of the more plausible places to get an away win - and try hold out for 0-0 from minute one rings alarm bells for me.

I don't think we'll go down but evidence so far suggests we'll be bottom 8 or so. Hopefully we can click going forward as we've steadied a bit at the back since Jansson has come in.

We scrambled past Blackburn at home so I'm not confident in any game at the moment. In theory we should be able to pick up a result but as bad as Cardiff are, we're also one of the weaker teams in the league so far so we'll see. I wouldn't take a point but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we get done.
