When Stan is on it he is frighteningly good. Serve for the match now let's hope he does it!

Oh yeah, almost forgot my usual Stan's backhand is the best thing in tennis post. There, I said it.

I want that backhand. The finest shot in tennis.

Here comes Djokovic. It's not over until the final point is won.

The backhand wins it. What a player Wawrinka is.

Hard luck Djokovic, must be wondering if he'll ever win this.

Just shows you what a good coach can do. Up until the start of 2013, aged 27, he'd only ever reached 2 quarter finals of slams. In the last 10 slams under Norman, he's made 3 quarters, 2 semis and won 2 slams. Says it all really.

Stan is the man. I didn't think he had a chance against an almost superhuman Djokovic but what a win. The second time he's beat the #1 and #2 seeds en route to winning a slam, so you can't say it's not deserved either. Monstrous, bulldog-like effort from the Swiss.

Got to feel for Nole, too. I really thought this was his year and I'm sure he did too. Will he ever win it? I just don't know.

Was a great performance and unlike against Nadal in the Aussie Open last year Wawrinka won against somebody who was fully fit - he just outplayed Djokovic for 3 sets.

(Not sure why the link says football..)

Presume Queens starts next week?

Goes into that as favourite I guess although Nadal and Wawrinka are playing...

Ward in with a chance of beating Raonic who doesn't look fully fit.

Any player with a half decent serve has got a good chance of beating Nadal on grass.

He's lost some speed but the most noticable thing about his game is that his forehand is now not that consistent machine it has been for 10 years. He's missing so many simple forehands and a lack of speed is meaning he can't get down quick enough to low bouncing balls, that shows up even more on a grass court. He might well be going into Federer territory, i.e. one who you can never write off winning anywhere just because of the legends that they are, but are unlikely to add many more to the total.

It's a shame that Lleyton Hewitt won't be playing anymore at the Queens Club, as i've always enjoyed watching him play over the years and his effort and commitment has always been first class. I think he retires after the Australian Open early next year.

Yeah he does retire after the Oz Open next year. Never liked his brashness but he fights for every point and has had a fine career.

Dimitrov out now...

The organisers will be hoping Murray makes it through - who do you fancy to make it from the other half of the draw?

Raonic maybe..

Either Raonic or Anderson. Think both servers will have too much for the baseliners Simon and Garcia Lopez.

Muller will be a very good test for Andy if he gets through today. He needs that match against a big server to get his eye in. I can see him playing Lopez in the semis if he gets that far.

Indeed it is. Not many long rallies in this game, but it's still a good game to watch.

The servebots are coming and it definitely harms the atmosphere when they are playing.
