I think this big fat cleric bugger will be more difficult.

Played episode 2 today. Again, very good. I love the graphics and music in particular in this game. The atmosphere is superb. Very much into the story as well.

Just frustrating there's a 6 week wait between episodes. I want episode 3 now.

Just finished the first two episodes and like you say it's really good. I'm a fan of the telltale games but often when playing them the choice making is a bit of an illusion at times, no matter what you do or don't do the story stays the same.

Refreshing that the decisions you make in this game significantly affect the story, even the small ones.

Getting more into Hardline at the mo, completed the campaign which is actually really good after a slow start. Level 34 online so given that a good run, crowning moment last night sniping 2 passengers and then the pilot of a chopper.

They still need to sort bad spawns and some OP weapons which need a tweek, but such a fun fast paced game.

Wrecked that big bird lookalike thing, Cleric Beast I think it's called. Thought it'd be harder than it was. Made it through most of Old Yarnam and then I ran into the blood crazed boss and died. Almost killed it on my first try but I had very little health thingies. I'll get it next time.

So over the past month I've powered through most of the KH series again (I, II, BBS and 3D) and have read, and re-read, numerous wiki entries on the series' plot, characters and general mythology and while I can tell you what happened, scene by scene, I still have no fucking idea how or why it happened.

This is half a Disney game. Half a fucking Disney game and it is more convoluted and full of contradictions than both bible testaments put together.

Still on Dying Light.

Its getting pretty boring quickly, some of the visuals are quite poor IMO.

plodding through Shadows of Mordor. i had a situation where i ended up starting a mission only to then have 6 captains attack me at the same time! managed to survive about 20 mins as i was near an elfen tower but eventually only managed to kill one of them. one of the buggers has killed me at least 3 times now and is loving it

Played a bit of Black ops II recently, can't get into AW at all and I find Ops to be so much more enjoyable, especially with Treyarch zombies.

Did a bit of share play with my mate who have that.

I am not sold on it, I am pretty impatient to be honest.

I got Bloodborne and it's just flat out fucking impossible. I can't even kill the first wolf-monster thing you meet first up. Two or three swipes from him and I die. I got given a gun and an axe in a dream or something but I don't know how to equip them.

I'm sure this game is great but I can see me taking it back. Fuck

Ok I'm passed that bit, and I worked out how to equip stuff, but now there's this big fuck off dude with an axe who hits me once and I die. Then I have to go back and kill all these little dudes again. It doesn't seem to save your progress. I can nearly kill the big fuck off dude if I jump around and dodge his attacks, but if I make 1 little mistake and he gets me, it's curtains. Really frustrating

Are you on about the guy in black just outside the clinic where you start?
If so he's completely optional and not worth it at this point.

Yeah big dude with a big axe. It feels doable, but this is one hell of an unforgiving game

It is but it's definitely worth sticking with it.
All the From Software games have a steep initial learning curve but eventually you find a way to play that suits you.

I've never played any of the others they made, so it is one hell of a curve like you say. The game doesn't really teach you how to play either, just drops you in the deep end. Is there no way of manually saving it by the way?

And on my previous note, Black Ops 3 has been confirmed today. Hope it's good, like the Treyarch games the best and this time they have had 3 years on this one.

Getting back into Ni No Kuni. Esther dies pretty much all the time. Is it a waste of resource healing her?

Traded Bloodborne, 1886 and Watch Dogs in today, I couldn't get into any of them. Came home with Evolve, which I'm psyched about but yet to try, and NBA 2K15 which I know I'll spend hours on.

Decided to stop being such a pussy and give the Dark/Demons Souls games a try, so I picked up DSII for a tenner from CEX.

Two fucking hours later, I've only just finished installing patches, updates and game data. In addition, lacking any sort of real skill at these video game thingies, as I do, I should be finished some time in 2019.

NBA 2K15.

Loving it so far, playing the my player/career more than anything else at the minute. Made myself out as a 7 ft 1 in African-American power forward out of Mississippi State. Just secured a season long deal with the Pistons after impressing on trial.

My favourite part is the online MyPark mode though. Teamed up with a couple of like minded randomers this afternoon and bossed the fuck out of it.

Far Cry 4. Just Far Cry 3 with a less engaging storyline and more of the "hey, you are under the influence of drugs" excuse for weird missions. Hopefully it improves.

I hated the career mode on 2K13, it was just so unforgiving. One misplaced pass and your rating nosedived! Plus I was awful at defending on it, so was constantly getting penalised for that too.

For me, 3 was far better than 4.
