I want Witcher 3, but I really don't want to be spending £50 on a game. So need to decide between Shadow of Mordor and Destiny, played neither before.

Playing Cities Skylines and not even remotely enjoying it. Probably the worst city building game I've played, even worse than the recent SimCity game. Will give it another hour and then I'll uninstall if I don't start to enjoy it.

What is wrong with you Cassandra, Cities is awesome!

Started The Darkness II. It's a pretty fun game; Using the Darkness to tear enemies in two is pretty awesome, the abilities are cool and add a little variety to the standard gun play that makes up most of the game. Story is serviceable, nothing fancy but it works.

The Elder Scrolls: Tamriel Online for the PS4.

I'm a newbie at these types of games, only previous one I've played was Skyrim which you didn't even need to be online to play. Taking me a while to get used to completing missions side by side with dozens of randomers and it does take away from the let yourself go in the fantasy world mentality that I think is key to role playing games but I am really enjoying it so far and can see it taking up a hell of a lot of my spare time over the next couple of months.

I've finished The Darkness II. Pretty fun game although it has a fair few flaws. Some of the enemies were pretty annoying such as the one that has a whip and can steal your weapon. The gunplay and aiming can be a little off sometimes, needs to be a bit tighter; I found myself struggling for headshots and stuff, just seemed off. I really enjoyed chucking objects at people, slicing them in half with fans, impaling with them pipes and smashing them with headstones - fun!

The game had some cool levels and chapters, the one set in the funfair/park was pretty enjoyable as was the graveyard level. Story was decent for the most part, nothing fancy. Jackie was an okay character, though I was more interested in Jennie.

A good game to pick up if you're got a spare £2-3 and you're out of ideas. Not a long game either, about 6-7 hours. Or 50 hours for me according to Steam. Fucking alt-tabbing.

Started Deadlight which I picked up in the sale last night.

Only played around thirty minutes so it's hard to give a detailed account. Side scrolling, zombie game. Only £1.99 on Steam.

I played through it when it was free on Xbox a while ago. Some really frustrating bits not helped by the control mechanics, but a decent enough time killer on the cheap.

I have just finished shadows of mordor. Its a good game, bit like a mediaeval batman arckham city. I picked it up pre owned for 20

Final boss battle a BIG letdown though

Plenty of side missions to do but I think I will be trading it in

Only four hours long so if it's not amazing then I won't be too fussed. I'm enjoying the game though, it's quite simplistic and perhaps a little basic, but it's been fun for the hour I've played. A fairly interesting take on a zombie game.

Afterfall: Insanity. A survival horror game for the PC, it's much better than I expected after seeing a load of 4 and 5/10 scores for it. It is a little generic but enjoyable.

Played a bit of Don't Starve Together last night with a friend. Really tough 2D survival game. Lived for a whole 14 days before a meteor strike ended me :(

I sunk a whole day into Prison Archetect yesterday. I was going along nicely but after a riot my workment refuse to do anything in my prison. So I can't build the building I need to hire armed guards which means I won't be able to get the prison under complete control.

Even when I got the danger back down to low they wouldn't go in and fix stuff which basically means my save is broke. The game is still full of bugs.

Finished State of Decay just now. I thought it was a really fun game for the first four or five hours then it all becomes samey. Constantly getting bombarded with requests to go help someone or clear out an infestation which doesn't really affect the story at all and there's no real rewards for doing the requests. One of the things I did like is that your characters will permanently die and new ones will be added to your 'home base'. The outposts and fortification idea was a good one, but it lacked any sort of imagination and it was all quite basic. All in all a fairly fun game for the most part. Drags on a bit though.

7/10.

Played through Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons last night. Extremely good game. Shame it's only 3 hours long, the story pacing suffers a bit because of the length of the game. Still, for a game with literally no dialogue it does a great job at reeling you in.

After completing Uncharted 1 and 2 last summer, I started the 3rd just as The Evil Within came out and never got round to finishing it. I've started it again today and up to chapter 9. It's very good. Refusing to watch the trailer for number 4 until I've completed it.

Why has it taken me this long to play it? Absolutely brilliant game even after 10 years of release , real good mix of puzzle/FPS. When will they bring out the third ;)

I'm sure it'll be announced at some point in the coming days.

Think about it.

E3. E, THREE.

Plus at the Sony conference, they announced the THREE games nobody expected them to, in FF7 remake, TLG and Shenmue... THREE.

All these threes = Half Life 3 confirmed.

I agree with that, it has a lot of potential but falls just short.

you never really ever get to need to use the biggest outposts as supplies run out in them areas or have to go a long way for supplies.

maybe one for a sequel

Just started Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. Well worth it so far, as its transferred my character over, so having another full playthrough before going into the new Act 5. Loving the upgrades so far though, with some good loot, better challenge and new elites.

Also started the first in the Tomb Raider triple pack to get me through until Rise of the Tomb Raider comes out!

Finished Deadlight. (ARE U HAPPY LEE I AM FINISHING MY GAMES M8). Smudge was right, there's quite a few frustrating parts to the game and they're not helped by some rather poor controls. The game was an interesting take on a zombie game but it was a little too barebones for my liking. Another example of a good idea executed poorly for the most part. 6/10.
