If you're a fan of the Resident Evil games, I suggest Revelations 2.

Chapter 1 was good. Chapter 2 was good with a fantastic twist. Half way through chapter 3 and it has been the best half a chapter I have played for years in a Resi game. I hope the game maintains the pace it has at the minute as it's very good.

Definite 8/10.

The only negatives I would give it is that the environments are all a bit dull and dingy. I'm not expecting glitz and glamour but I did enjoy the Queen Zenobia boat in Revelations 1 plus other more tradition environments. Enemy wise, it hits in places and misses in others. Character wise, I like all 4. Claire has a new voice actor who isn't as good as the previous but still does a decent enough job, plus it's Claire, she's a bad ass. Barry is hilarious in places with his delivery. Moira portrays the shit scared and angsty teenager excellent. Natalia adds a real air of vulnerability and intrigue.

Play, play, play!

Far Cry 4.

Very much Far Cry 3.14 - Still enjoyable, definitely not worth the £50 for me.

Goat Sim has been out for over a year hasn't it? Certainly remember people pre-ordering it a long time ago, wasn't it made as a joke for all the simulator games out there and ended up doing well. Isn't there also a christmas shopper simulator? :gr:

There is legitimately a Tree Simulator game out there.

I'm not even kidding. Google it.

Thats what it felt like playing it! Like somebody had made it just messing around, then realised it was actually pretty funny!

Finished Suikoden 1. One of the best JRPG games ever made. Bit too short though, took me ten hours but then again I must have completed the game ten times.

And here's an extremely annoying Irish bloke playing Grass Simulator...

Steam Greenlight has a lot to answer for :dis:

I'm still split on greenlight, I love the concept but it has flooded steam with lots of cheap games.

yep.

I love the idea and to be fair I like some of the games, its not for them who want the glitzy games, but them who still like an odd strategic game or an indie platformer it has some good ones.

Ultimate General: gettysberg I think is the one I've played most which I got from there.

but I think in steam store greenlight games should be its own section...like they do sports/strategy/action etc, etc so you know which are which.

Finally finished Farcry 4, was kind of gutted it didn't take me back to 'pre final mission' state so i could get one of the other endings,

I sided with Amita, killed Sabal, killed Pagan, and then had to kill Amita co she was stealing kids. I feel I hardly got an ending

I'm a couple of hours into Citizens of Earth. Quite enjoying it. Need to level up a bit more because my party of a conspiracy nut named after Cas from here, my characters Brother who works for the in-game version of UPS and a fat german baker got absolutely wrecked by a fat lady cop when I tried to fight her.

also fat german baker is called Hans Gruber

Played a couple hours of 1FF Type-0 today. Combat system is damn fun and the game seems a lot less linear than the XIII series of games.

Started Suikoden 2. Not got far; I've only just met up with Ellie, Rina and Bolgan.

Well, any hype you built up for us vanished with the delays. You're like Spore, you. How does that make you feel?

Currently playing CSGO. It is fun, but only competitive...until you are playing against a team with SMURF!

Finished Episode 2 of Telltale's Borderlands.

It's excellent. Probably their best series yet, hopefully they can get the Game of Thrones one up to the same standard (even though I enjoy that too).
