It was quite clearly tongue in cheek..however....I find people with headphones in the most unlikely to say thanks after holding the door open and most likely to completely blank anything that's going on around them, be it walking into someone or just becoming a stereotypical southerner who avoids any form of eye contact with people.

I went to the local pub with my parents and coincidentally met up with one of my mum's friends who was nicknamed "Elvie girl" due to her insane levels of fanaticism for Elvis. I sometimes run with headphones in. And when I do I like to sing along. It's remarkably anti-social. I can see why people would be annoyed.

That's before you take into account the dance moves I incorporate.

Yep had that a few times when I used to go clubbing with my mates who would see a few lads and they'd start chatting to me asking about how I was doing and I wouldn't have a clue who they were even when my mates told me their names when they went away. I'm pretty honest about it though, I just come clean, it may hurt them a bit, but I'm not going to lie, I'm past all that awkward social shit now.

The wage discrepancy between London and where I live. A mate of mine has just left our company, to do literally the exact same job at our clients firm in London and his wage jumped from £17k to £86k. I'm not even joking. What makes it worse is that he's been given advice by his new employer to set himself up as a PLC, so he somehow pays much less tax (something to do with him 'paying himself' minimum wage and declaring the rest as dividends to shareholders. I'm pleased for him, but shit, that wage his mental for what he does - it's a very low skilled job

It's a mix between my employer being under=paying swines, and his new company overpaying him. In reality a fair wage for his job would be somewhere inbetween. But yeah, that's what he's earning now. Crazy

He's not the type. That's what he's earning. It's contracting, which pays more anyway, but yeah, that's what he's jumped to! What's kind of annoying how he's managing to avoid paying less tax as well as getting paid a fortune, but hey, if I could do it...
