Getting increasingly annoyed about my 5 year laptop slowly falling apart (non-removable battery holds about an hour of charge, split in the lid, screen scratched to buggery, power port only working when it feels like it etc) and thinking I'd have to bin it and buy a new one. I then remember I'm paying a small monthly fee for a Currys Whatever Happens plan. Just called them and they're collecting it tomorrow to fix everything that is wrong with it and, if they can't or it's not worth it (highly likely) then I'll get a decent amount of money towards a replacement.

Currys are fine providing you don't need to ask them questions, they know fuck all. If I recall this particular laptop was on a ridiculous deal, got it for over £200 less than the RRP because it was meant to be an ex-display model but they had a new boxed one out back which I got for the same price.

I never shop at Currys. Only PC World for me. They know their stuff.

It's a while since, at this time of year, the weather's been right, I've been home and my back's up to the job.

Worth getting as much as you can during Autumn as I find the turnout is much lower as you head into the new year.
