According to a Hereford fan on our forum we're interested in Jamie Willets. What's he like Hereford fans?

Didn't look too great in the Vase final at the weekend, but then only two players did for Herefprd and they both can't play any higher because of their student visas! So it doesn't say much.

I'd like us to go after this Danny East. I like Mark Carrington but he is not a proper full back and I do worry that we could be found out on that wing. It would be nice to just have a proper full back instead of a midfielder playing right back.

Washbourne was a youngster Hockaday signed as a first year pro here a few seasons back. Looked a decent prospect in reserve games, usually played in midfield (occasionally in a front 3) had a nice touch and sprayed it around a bit. Went on loan to Ciren and Gloucester I think, where he did fairly well.

Given our huge squad at the time and the way Hockaday kept signing players, it was always going to be difficult for youngsters to get a proper chance. Glad to see he's done alright for himself since then.

He's good enough for League 1, possibly higher given a bit of work on a few areas. We know there isn't a cat in hells chance of him staying here so just hope for a half decent fee out of a tribunal. A few Championship clubs were looking at him in January but your level is more realistic I think.

Yes, that game was played at the end of that terrible wet spell of weather and really shouldnt have been played. That clip was in the last minute or so and the p;itch cut up terribly all game. Normally our pitch is excellent but it really suffered last year, now re-laid.

Doesn't sound like we'll be too active this window with only 5 or 6 coming in. I suspect that'd change slightly if people reject contracts but the ones who have been offered one are young, local lads so I imagine they'll sign.

I don't think there is any truth in the Rivers rumour to be honest. Most of the rumours on our site have been well wide of the mark tbh.
