It's not worked out for Halls here at all, although he has improved considerably when he's played as a centre back. He's never a right back in a million years, he was dreadful there.

If losing him meant we had a bit of budget for MB to play with, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. If we're just losing a body, it's something we really can't afford to do.

He’s been a disaster quite frankly, doesn’t cut out crosses and can’t pass, usually hoofs it instead and loses possession. To be fair he’s had a mini resurgence filling in as a centre back recently, can just about tolerate him there but as a full back he’s one of the worst we’ve had. Not much of a fan of his attitude either really, didn’t like the way he went about slagging you off in the summer to be honest.

We are crying out for a reserve right back and if he's not wanted at Chester then we should get him pretty cheap. He did alright during his spell with us (nothing exceptional but not terrible either) so it seems a pretty sensible deal to me as long as everyone can get over his whinging.

Our club website is stating that Nathan Blissett has joined Macclesfield on loan for the rest of the season. If you need a big unit he might help you, though his control is not that great. He is better running on to the ball from someone else, than taking long kicks and playing others in. For his size not sure he is not the best of jumpers, but he will definitely get you some goals. We have played him on the wing, he is quite quick. I imagine he will enjoy the extra space he may get.

We've been playing him left back only because our other left back Blair Adams is dogshite, but he's a flair midfielder, full of neat touches and passing, decent set piece on him as well, someone to play behind the strikers, he's too slow to be considered a winger, if Deverdics ends up at Gateshead I'll eat my keyboard.

Agreed. We'd probably have to revert to a 433 if we did get him. With Wedgbury and Akil Wright also in the centre, we'd have the 2nd best midfield in the league behind Danny Whitaker.
