We've signed Barry Bannan on a free transfer.

Only seen fleeting glimspes of him, but always thought he was an okay player. He needs a proper crack at staying somewhere and getting an understanding of the team and tactics though, not a handful of appearances whilst on loan, hope he does well as hoped he would be a decent player for Scotland and it hasn't happened despite a few standout national performances.

He's still on 25 so I'm hopeful he settles down here.

Happy to get Nathan Bryne. Need a CB to replace Richard Stearman (why even sell him?) and a goalkeeper that isn't named Vito Mannone and were good to go.

He had pedigree at one point, hopefully can re-find it at a lower level of competition. Perhaps the Prem was too much for him, wouldn't be the first player to be good at one level but struggle at another.

Liam Moore is a poor signing for Bristol City. Would be dissapointed if Brentford had signed him again.

Leicester fans rated him from when they were in the Championship, so we'll see.

Really? I always thought he was a decent player? That said, I never really take much notice of any league other than the one City are in. Doubt he'll sign anyway.

We had him on loan in league one and he was average. Then we had him last season and he was awful. He even got subbed off halfway through a game at Ipswich because he was getting torn apart.

Just the type of signing we need then.

Let's sign Bikey instead
God I hope not. Got a history of playing for a contract and then being utterly shite once he gets one. How many clubs have let him go now?

Lucas Piazon on a season long loan from Chelsea should be confirmed shortly. He's confirmed it on his own twitter anyway.

He was. But I hope we don't go for him based on a couple of games over 3 years ago. He's done absolutely nothing since. Been released by Middlesbrough, some Greek club and now Charlton halfway through a 2 year deal

Vita Mannone sounds like a high energy dairy product.
And didn't Bananarama sing about Nathan Byrne?

I seem to remember him being pretty good when we were in League 1? I reckon there is a very good player in there, but he just looked terrible last season.

Which he has now taken down. Looks like he was a bit too eager. Quality signing though. Now we just need to bring in another striker.

Not official yet, but Butterfield supposedly completed.

Remains to be seen whether a player is going the other way. Christie or Buxton if there is.

Meanwhile, fuck all is happening at Deepdale.

I'm avoiding PNE Online until the window shuts. Seen Elliot Bennett, Richie Wellens, Stevie May, Nick Powell, Brandon Barker all mentioned as incomings. All of them seem like bollocks.

Christ, Glenn Murray is going to Bournemouth for £5m. Our tame £750k offer last January probably forced Bournemouth into a move.
