We have previous experience of raising crocks from their deathbeds - both Dean Bowditch and Luke Chadwick joined with plastic hospital tags still attached and both played more often than not. Same could be said about Alan Smith but that wasn't necessarily a good thing as it turned out.

We've also picked up Jake Forster-Caskey from Brighton for a month. Solely cover for Samir while he sits on the naughty step for three games.

Not sure he'll sign a new one, even though he'll be first choice this season, as he probably feels he'll lose his spot to Bjelland next year.
