Crazy money for a third division club to be spending.
I don't disagree Liam. I guess the only mitigating factor is they can sell Toney or Madison for big bucks.
If League 1 sides are spending £Millions you would expect someone to go bust at some point.

Apparently we want Jonny Williams. Not seen that much of him but if stays fit then might be a decent signing.

You'll get told the same as Stoke did then.

87.4m or fuck off then by the way you’ve been talking about the way Hemmings deals

Along those lines.

Also Prem interest in Pearson, Sheff Utd or Burnley my guess, hate to lose him but can't stand in his way.

If we have to sell then I'd we hope cough up the cash for Morsy at Wigan, not Pearl level but the best we could do IMO.

Think they’re different players but Morsy would be a cheap alternative to Pearson and somebody I’d take here. Woods would be my choice, though we’ve not had a big hitting CM like Pearson for years and the closest we have to it is out until December.

I don't think there's any chance Pearson is rocking up at Ashton Gate tbh, honestly think we'd sell to a Prem team for less money just to soften the backlash. People don't need much of an excuse not to attend anyway, selling your best player to a divisional rival, is a pretty good one.

Rumours United have a 50% sell on.

We'd replace him with someone from League One anyway, so you can have Morsy.

I'm sure you're right SF but if we don't ask, we would definitely not stand a chance of getting him. Costs nothing to ask the question I suppose.
I do sense we're about to obliterate our transfer record FWIW. It's currently £5.4M.

I don’t either but we’ll see. I don’t think he’ll get PL offers personally and we’re one of the few clubs that could afford him in this league.

PNE Online is full of bed wetters isn’t it? Fans on there saying they’d send their season tickets back and stop bothering if Pearson goes to a Championship side.

Sheff Utd very interested, Burnley have watched him for 18 months. He's a Prem player.

If the sell on clause is true then you could offer £15m and we'd still probably rather keep him. Only way he leaves is to a Prem club IMO.

Any manager worth their salt would think they could sort him out, probably won't like.

How would you lot be able to afford his wages?

Your transfer budget consists of two pints of lager and a packet of crisps. I don’t think you’ll ever be able to cherry pick from us.

Scottish red top reporting that Stoke want Windass and we’ve asked for 3 million. I don’t think it’s true but if it is, that would be a welcome boost for us.

£500k + Graham Burke should be enough to get Morsy I reckon.

We’re being linked with a £5m bid for Luka Ivanusec, 20 year old midfielder currently playing in Croatia

If true, that would be quite a jump in the fees we’re willing to pay! I doubt it’s real, but we’ve been after players from that league before (missed out on Kramaric before he moved to Leicester)

We have been linked with Jay Dasilva, along with Bristol City. Though I think City want to buy and we want to loan.
