Osborn off to Sheffield United then, looks like finally being confirmed.

Fee is somewhere between £4m and £5m. Good fee for a player in the final year of his contract. Weird one really as I don't think he would be an automatic starter for us but at the same time I fully expect him to go to a team in the PL and do a good job. He's perfect for Wilder to develop and I really hope he does well. Victim of his versatility here in that he never had a fixed position (LB, LWB, DM, CM, AM, LW).

Won't ever, ever forget THAT goal against the Sheep.

We have signed Jan Mlakar on loan from Brighton. They paid £3million for him in January so hopefully he has something about him. Got 1 goal every 2 games last season despite being 20 so hopefully he is half decent.

A couple more would be lovely.

With the budget we’re working with I’d take that.

Probably suits the way Bowyer likes to play although not quick is he?
Not lightning quick but his clever movement more than makes up for that. He's a cracking player and it's a real shame he's never been given a proper run in the side here, when he's had a string of games he's always done very well.

Would be more than happy with him, always doubtful when I see other clubs are interested though

He was a decent player for us. Michael Brown nearly killed him and he took a while to regain fitness so was a flop at Norwich but he's had a couple of decent seasons with Huddersfield and Derby since.

Hate Michael Brown - he ruined Jem Karacan's career as well with a shocking challenge, proper c***.

He'd be a quality signing. He'd cost a fortune, Brandon Barker it is then.

LEP saying that we'd asked about a loan but Celtic only want a permanent deal. He'd be a good signing for a Championship club at £2.5m, I'm sure there's quite a few in this league who'd be willing to pay his wages aswell, we won't be one of them.

If the Nketiah loan to us is off, bringing Sinclair home and playing him through the middle at £2.5M is a no brainer imo.

LOL @ the standard of football in Scotland if arguably the best player in that league moves to Preston.

No offence to Preston.

Isn't he a Gashead
Might be Southey, I don't know TBH.
He's stayed away that long, the embarrassment of being at the gas is probably over now.
He was at the gas as a youngster but that doesn't make him a gashead. Marcus Stewart is possibly their best player historically but is definitely a red, City tattoos and all.

SMH do you rate Nathan Byrne?
Decent RB/RWB at this level. Good going forward, can be weak defensively if targeted as he’s not the biggest.

We’re out there fannying around over whether to pay 3m for Jamal Lowe, when Scott Sinclair would possibly be available for cheaper if these rumours are true. Sort it out Latics!

Am I missing something with Scott Sinclair, he barely gets off the bench for Celtic?

Shame to see him go, but hopefully we can bring someone better in.

Got the potential to be a Bournemouth your club with how good your scouting network and recruitment is but will never happen as you just sell every single good player you ever get.

Isn’t this the story with every club in the world in the current market?

Better the situation we find ourselves in now than running the club into the ground with debt by refusing to sell any of our players, and giving them overinflated wages.

Sawyers had one year left on his deal, we can’t afford to give him the wages another team can so he’s going to go within 12 months anyway, better to get £3m now we can invest in someone else.

I really don’t understand why so many fans struggle to get that?

Rumour up here is that you are replacing him with Marquis
