George Williams of Fulham linked. Now I'm all for us having more Welsh players in the squad, but the ones talked about aren't getting me excited in all honesty.

Surprised you haven't given us a call about Emyr Huws yet. I'm sure we'd happily sell at the right price. Only reason he's still here is because we're trying to recoup as much cash as possible.

There's still plenty of time left yet...

Looks like we have former Bordeaux and PSG youth midfielder Sessi D'Almeida on trial.

Full Benin international. :brill:

Jake Buxton is close to a move to Wigan.

He came in an unfancied non-league defender, improved year on year to become a regular, played over 100 games for us, scored last minute winners against both Forest and Leeds, became a genuinely good footballing centre back, and leaves the club with a cult hero status that will last for decades.

I really hope it works out for him at Wigan.

George Williams. Great potential. Right now can't get in our squad and we are terrible

£7m+ turned down for Hendrick. The world's gone absolutely mental.

Now, I entertain anyone to try and sign Hughes; If Hendrick is worth more than £7m in Mel's eyes then I can't even imagine what he would want for Hughes.

We're pricing ourselves out of the market with regards to player sales. I don't even think Hendrick will start half our games next season. If you take into account injuries last season, he was the most unused central midfielder out of the six!!

Is this the new "Derby Way"? Refuse to sell a player because he is considered too valuable and then keep him warming the bench for most of the season.:bg:

Money for old rope at Derby......players get well paid even though they play less than half the games. Hendric will probably now follow Bryson by getting a heft pay rise and a cushy FIVE-year contract.:bg:

We had him on trial for 3 of our friendlies and he looked half decent in a couple that i saw although against poor opposition, was a little surprised we didn't take a chance and offer him a deal with him being only 19 but Alan Stubbs has seen him play more thoroughly than what i have so i trust his judgement that we won't be good enough.

Sorry we're not a selling club, who give in to little tinpot teams who value Michael fúcking Keane at £20m, but put forward laughable bids for players time and time again.

Lets be fair, Josh Brownhill is a decent young player but he couldn't even make our bench.

Not surprised, you also have excellent midfield options for this level.

If you'd have had Beckford fit for the whole of last season you'd have challenged the top six.

Neil Kilkenny could though...

Which says a lot about Brownhills ability. Current ability, mind.

I do believe he's got potential to become a great player. Whether or not he fulfils that potential is anyone's guess at this stage.

Over to you Joshua.

Rarely in the second half of last season, I'd consider Killa as more reliable option last season but again, Brownhill is young and has time on his side to adjust to this league.

Brighton have turned down £7m for Dunk from WBA. Bar is being set.

Millwall have changed their mind now and decided not to sell Gregory after accepting our 1.5 million bid early this week so now that deal is completely dead, chairman said that we have 4 other options we are looking at in that area and ive got a feeling one of those will be Le Fondre which i really hope does happen.

MK Dons and Sheff Utd both want to sign Sam Morsy and we're willing to sell. Whoever he goes to I'll be surprised if they don't end up promoted. Very good L1 player.

Also Newcastle are willing to loan out Adam Armstrong and buy Che Adams for 3m+. Shows how little their hierarchy knows about the Football League because for me Armstrong's a much better player. I'd have him at Wigan tomorrow.

Linked with James Chester in the papers today, yes please.

Fulham have enquired about Keogh, Russell and Martin too apparently. Unless they're willing to pay daft money I don't think they'll be moving anywhere.

3-4 years ago, it would be.

He was woeful when we had him on loan. And only made three sub appearances with Burnley.
It would still be a very good signing for Burton or anyone likely to be fighting relegation.

He was outstanding for Leicester 2013/14 that was only 2 years ago. Wouldn't want him here for the reasons you listed above but for Burton, about as good as they're gonna get.

Kodjia's shared another link today on his Facebook profile linking him with moves to Everton and Stoke.

It's a personal account, so as some are suggesting he may be just sharing it to show off to his friends back home, but I do now think we'd be wise to cash in a very good amount on him now, rather than lose him on deadline day and end up chucking daft money at players that aren't interested.

Need the 'very good offer' first!
If it's a Premier league move then I would wish him well but not to a Championship club.

One will soon come if we put him in the window, LJ's made it pretty clear that he won't welcome any bids, but his head will probably get turned by this PL interest so I'd take the money and get a top quality replacement in with the money that we receive for him.
