Ugh. They were absolutely atrocious so to end up only taking a point when they played 15 with nine men is a travesty. Poor game management trying to play keep ball. Go for the kill ffs. We give them a couple of free kicks, then they earn a couple of corners which they score from. Very poor indeed.

Actually I'm getting carried away, according to Live Score it was only 3 minutes! I'm going mad in my old age!

All I will say is it’s gone exactly as I thought it would since the fixtures started getting a little tougher.

Terrible team that’s only heading one place and that is the National League. And it will be what the club deserves for such neglect and inept failures to improve the squad during this transfer window.

How did Anthony Grant play mate?

Early in the game he was doing all the Grant things we know and love (if he’s on your team). Was difficult though for anyone to get a foothold with the wind as it was. Towards the end of the game particularly after we brought on Charsley you could see he hadn’t played a while as was struggling to keep with the running of him and Garrity. I think with more game time he will be a smart signing for them.

A bit shell shocked from that, as were our players unfortunately.

We looked nervous and cautious. The approach that worked against the divisions dross of Rochdale, Scunthorpe etc of allowing them possession and standing off them really didn’t work here.

We allowed them to play their football - which by the way they are so far better than anyone else in the division at - that giving them the foothold in the game made it impossible to turn it around.

It was only playing for three points though and I believe we’ll still finish top three because we are so efficient at putting all the bottom half sides to the sword.
