Not often we can say it this season, but we were exceptional and Shrewsbury so so poor.

We started the game so strongly, Shrewsbury didn't know what to do for the first 20 mins.

They then found a bit more possession but couldn't deal with our high press, and just kept passing it along their backline.

We then got stronger final 5 mins of first half. Only thing missing first half was a 2nd.

Expected Shrewsbury to come at us 2nd half and they sort of did without having a chance. They had better of opening 10 of.the 2nd.

It was then all us and 2nd goal was a thing of beauty. Passing it around so effortlessly.

I think I remember Shrewsbury testing our keeper once only. Game so comfortable we could rotate 5 to save them for the weekend.

Felt it really clicked tonight, Shrewsbury couldn't deal with us and looked so far off the pace.

Saturdays a big game v Stevenage.
Lincoln were good tonight but we were dreadful. It shows with a couple of players out just how threadbare our squad is in terms of quality.

Don't think we've scored a league goal away from home in midweeks this season, and that's the third 3-0 defeat without laying a glove on the opposition. Need to sort out the goal difference.

Just have to forget that one and move onto Saturday at home to Blackpool.

honestly don't know what Chelts were thinking there, so, so negative.

They were barely even hitting us on the counter if we went forward, it was just pure defence for the most part.

The shots stat says it all. I mean, shots are meaningless if they're a) not on target and b) don't go in, but they were pretty much letting us come at them, and our keeper barely had anything to do.

I will say that CTFC's players chucked themselves into every tackle, and 10/10 for battling, but that won't always be enough.

Scratching my head honestly. So poor from us. Improved a little when the subs came on but got what we deserved.

Magnificent come back by Fleetwood, sadly it's probably too little too late
Again as at the weekend we dominated in terms of possession,
shots on target, corners but that elusive 3 points evades us
Wish Port Vale well and if you can stay up that will be a great achievement

It was like we learned nothing from when we played you and lost 3-1 24 days ago.

For the first 20 mins of that game we run rings around Wycombe, then panicked after conceding a goal against the run of play. Tonight, we played like we did for the remaining 70 mins of that game. Hoofed up to two small players who were never going to win a thing against the Wycombe giants at the back.

We got exactly what we deserved tonight and it serves as a reminder that just because safety is in our own hands, we're not even remotely close to being safe yet.

We need to get out of the relegation zone first.

Let’s say it. This league one is one of the weakest for years. We should be bottom 4 but are not.
I’m sure other fans feel the same too. The quality this season has been awful at times. I watch step 5 football and it’s not much worse in honesty. Infact Lichfield city would smash burton at the moment. We are beyond awful.
If we stay up it’s a miracle.
Us and vale to go down with fleetwood and Carlisle.

To have the double done over you by us this season would be a low point in any clubs history I'm not going to lie.

Least of our problems. Enjoy your win.
You deserve that for fucking you about with the late call off.

You're a nice little club who have done so well since coming into the football league and to play in the Championship was outstanding, but you have punched far above your weight for a long time so it's inevitable that it would start to come to an end.

I always admired how well your club was run.

3 points away at Oxford on Saturday, another 3 tonight at home to Blackpool.
We've been superb over the last 15 games (Burton aside), still 5 points behind stevenage in 6th having played an extra game but you never know...
You've had a tremendous season mate and all you Orient fans must be over the moon. Chase Stevenage down......

WE WON A BLOODY GAME OF FOOTBALL!!
First win in 17 finally. Not the best game but who cares, we weren’t great and Derby were even worse, cannot believe they’re second. Huge win come on!
Great result.. I fancied Charlton for this game. They played well on Saturday makes our point a good one after tonights results

Deserved win against Blackpool, second half we was the better side and we took one of our chances - Ollie O'Neill looking like a very shrewd buy from Fulham, 3 goals now in 4 games. Blackpool didn't have a shot on target and apart from one cross in the first half, they barely threatened in truth.

Only downside is Idris El Mizouni picked up his tenth yellow so is now banned for 2 games, he'll be a pick miss for us.

Down to the bear bones almost, but this group of players are giving it a right good go at getting into the top 6.

What a relief to stop the rot of 8 defeats on the spin.
We're obviously still going down, but tonight gives us hope of clawing back some pride and maybe finishing the season not bottom.

Huge game on Saturday...
You will be fine - don’t worry. We will play a sort of 6-3-1-1 formation with the keeper up front.
Then, we will change it to 4-3-1-1-2 and then abandon that and play rush goalie and charge at your players like British bulldog whilst out “manager” gives it the thumbs up.

Past tense of course.
We are a shadow of those sides now. On a slide to swap places with Tamworth I’m sure.

If you think this league is bad you should see the one below. Doncaster are 20th and still in with a shout for the playoffs. Mansfield top on just 63 points.

Fleetwood were pretty good today and must have a chance of staying up. The penalty we got was a joke decision and the new manager bounce seems to have gone in the wrong direction, if we stay up I will be amazed.

No chance they are winning 7/8 out of 11. They had some handy players but we should have beaten them tonight, criminal we threw that away from another single error with Jesse header than Loft messing about in his own corner!

Lawal oddly tore us apart at their place but was terrible tonight.

DC took 6 or 7 attempts but we don’t have time for that now. Tonight would have given us a real chance to close the gap on those teams around 38 points but as soon as Jesse messed up to gift them a way back in you knew these bottlers would cave in.

If Carlsberg did the perfect Tuesday night football results

Awww, thanks mate.

Only downside is Idris El Mizouni picked up his tenth yellow so is now banned for 2 games, he'll be a pick miss for us.

Think one of them was a cup booking so not sure he’s actually suspended yet.

Well deserved win tonight either way. Blackpool were fucking atrocious in the second half. Having matches against sides all around us is working in our favour at the moment.

Look, I couldn't watch tonight's match and I gather that's for the best, but it's a really odd feeling at the moment having this run of fixtures at the same time as all the drama. It's telling that more people miss Lyle more than Harris.

Just odd being like ''we lost by 1 goal, that's alright'' and simultaneously being certain in a fortnight things should still be okay. Then you remember it's Stevenage. Ah well.

Transfermarkt has it down as 9 in the league and 1 in the cup, so seems like he won't be. He'll be a massive miss if he does get suspended, he's been brilliant since the turn of the year.

Dammit. At least we'll have Evans back from his ban

Wellens confirmed last night one was in the cup, so he will be avaliable Saturday. Cut off must be end of March, will be amazed if he lasts that long without another!
