What an odd night. Stockport the better team but either team could've claimed they should've won it with the chances they had and it could've legitimately been about 4-4.

Cook looks like the old Cook who couldn't finish his tea. Missed pen and that one on one last season would've been a banker.

That being said, Stockport missed some sitters too.

Didn’t play a more defensive home side in our four seasons in non-league than that. To be fair they weren’t baited into making something happen by our increasingly mad substitutions and risk taking, happy with a 0-0 at kick-off and happy with a 0-0 at full-time. Fair play, I guess.

Finished 1-1. A night of pub-quality finishing from both sides. Stockport had plenty of chances to kill that game and they should have had a penalty after Platt pushed one of their players in the box. Cook should have buried a header, he also missed a pen and fluffed a one-on-one. On balance of chances, I don't think we deserved a point. Going 1-0 up and sitting back has yet to work but Hughes keeps doing it. It's beginning to really piss me off and other fans I suspect. Would swap him for Challinor in a heartbeat.

We desperately need a new left wing-back because the options there are nowhere near good enough. Kelly isn't good enough and the options from the bench are incredibly weak, not just in defence but in other areas also.

I’m sorry mansfield but you’ve got to be winning that, dominant at crewe, dominant here and you’re only getting 2-2 draws at both.

Literally all over them for vast periods of the game yet we’re reduced to coming back from being behind both times.

It’s like last season all over again, sloppy goals, wasteful upfront and injuries all over the place, what the fuck.

Feel a bit ungrateful but the draw away tonight would be bordering on the unsatisfactory had it not been for the injuries

Hammered FGR after their red card - Kinsella should have gone before that with a dreadful tackle but got a yellow. 3 games this season - 65 shots. It’s the footballing equivalent of Bazball . God knows how many goals they’ll be at Wrexham Saturday. Hopefully we’ll have some players back from injury/sickness, 6 missing this evening.

Bit of a shitter to concede that late. Good first half from us but tbh even before the red Swindon were battering us and Bunker’s red made it inevitable.

Ref was piss poor, card happy with our lot but ignored an awful challenge by Kinsella on JMT that should have been red. Him limping off is a big blow, he’s injury prone at the best of times, we could have done without him being out for a bit, joining our other 4 long term injuries we’ve somehow already picked up this season.
