25 YEARS since this song/ album was released. Makes you think.

Were you a crusty Aber? I wasn't, though I did have long hair and hung around with a few, early 90s. "One way of life" was a crowd-pleaser at student / indie nights.

I wasn't quite old enough really. Got into them a fair few years after. Got more into the crusty scene sort of late 90's/ early 2000's but never went full crusty. Cracking band though and one way is still a indie night staple

The whole of Astral Weeks is an absolute masterpiece. Madam George is my fave.

You checked out the Mansun track I posted? Off another masterpiece of an album, but unlike Astral Weeks vastly underrated. Some people haven't even heard of them.

Just gave it a listen now and it's very good. Mansun are one of those bands I've heard a lot of good things about but never taken the plunge and given an album a listen. I will do.

Just seen the Billy Bragg track posted above - I can't remember who it was on TFF but someone posted this one and it's beautiful, a bit of a tearjerker if you are that way inclined, which I'm absolutely not, you understand...

...the version the person on TFF posted was a fair bit earlier than this one and it was perfect.

That was me.

And Attack Of The Grey Lantern is one of the best albums of the last two decades. Deserves far more recognition than it's had. Deffo worth a listen, it's on Spotify too.

Gave that a listen and it's a lovely track too - in a similar a vein to Tank Park Salute.

Not many people have heard of this guy, but probably my favourite artist. One of his best tracks.

And another from his debut album in 1976. A fantastic piece of music that everyone needs to check out.
