Big game for us, although at this point every game is big. We need to bounce back after that dire performance against Exeter, so I'd expect to see a few changes. Doyle (E..) will undoubtedly start, potentially Roberts too?

Forde
Evans Burgess Clarke Stevens
Doyle Rose
Lowe Roberts Naismith
Doyle
I'd like to see that lineup, but I wouldn't be surprised if Baker and Bennett are in for Lowe and Naismith, and maybe even Linganzi for Rose. Really think Lowe should be given a chance after his showings from the bench though.

I'm hoping that our inconsistency continues this weekend because a defeat here is not going to help the negativity around the club.

Thankfully Smith has left and Doyle will replace him. Hearing that Akinfenwa has a knock? We struggle against big men so that would be a bonus.

I'd take a point right now just so we don't lost two on the bounce. We've been better away from home in the last few months so perhaps we could nick something.

You may well be pretty close with that line up Bucket, although I think it would be a bit unfair on Chaplin to be left out again. Didn't do much against Exeter admittedly but neither did anyone else really (a few jinky runs from Lowe aside). I suppose he will likely be a victim of the return to 4-2-3-1 for what looks a really tough game.

I agree that Roberts looks due a return. He must surely have a good understanding with Doyle from their Chesterfield days. Baker's form has dropped right off and Lowe is surely ready to be unleashed.

I have the usual mixture of anticipation and dread for this one. Normally I would be ok with a point but that would likely see the Exeter Express pulling further away.

we could even have both Kashket and Akinfenwa out. Think this will be 1-1.

Yeah I'd love to see Chaplin continue to start but I really can't see where he fits in if we go 4-2-3-1, with Doyle now at the club. Maybe behind the striker when Roberts/Baker tires?

No Cowan-Hall either and with Southwell on loan at Lincoln looks like we'll be stuck with starting Thompson and Hayes up front ffs! :ffs: With our injuries i'll be happy with a point.

Starting with a front 3 of Kashket,Hayes and The Beast with 3 more attack options on the bench, it's the starting XI that played Spurs last Saturday.

5 changes for us. Looking forward to it but that frontline of yours sounds dangerous.

7 changes from Tuesday so i'm feeling happier especially with Pierre and Stewart in defence as well as we were well beaten while they were rested.

apparently an equal first half but only our keeper had a real save to make. Still all to play for.

Every time I think this season has gotten as frustrating as it could possibly get, it gets even more so. Ugh. We have to get it together.

Really disappointing, I didn't go or listen but we had 16 shots but only 2 of those on target.

Next two games are huge, Accrington and Blackpool at home in 4 days. Not sure if we can really afford anything other than 6 points.

Agreed, 6 points is an absolute must from those if we still want to entertain hopes of making the Top 3. No wonder Cook is playing the positive game in his post-match interviews.

I would expand that as our next two home matches after that are Morecambe and Crewe. Only 12 points from the next four matches will be deemed acceptable and yesterday's defeat now means we'll probably have to beat Carlisle at the end of the month, too.
