Ryan Yates confirmed signing from Forest, seems a good signing that.

Confirmed we've signed midfielder Cameron Brannagan from Liverpool on a 3 ½ year deal for an undisclosed fee.

One of the same sources (Pete O'Rourke of Sky) saying we would sign Cameron Brannagan has tweeted that we are going to sign Man City's Isaac Buckley-Ricketts on loan.

Anyone wanna give us a half decent central midfielder and right back? All of our senior right backs and all of our central midfielders bar 20 year old Adam May are injured at the moment!!

Would be amazed if we let Taylor go, we'd be proper fucked. Surely tell him to wait till the summer.

What’s he worth? £300k?

Not with being out of contract and available on a free in the summer. He's currently our only fully fit striker (Cody McDonald is playing with a broken toe and Appiah is out for the rest of the season) so you'd need to be prepared to pay an absolutely stupid amount as a fee to get him or give us your entire forward line in return.

Make a good offer (£150k would do it I reckon) for Dwight Tiendalli and I'm sure you'll get him. Can play right or left back. Top signing for you I reckon.

Linked with Lyle Taylor at AFC Wimbledon, and Jorge Grant at Forest.

Some talk you’d bid £500k for Grant. If he was our player i’d be wanting double that at least.

He’s a good lad, really hard working and covers a lot of ground. I have some serious doubts over whether he’s good enough with the ball to get into a top League One team, but hope he does.

We've signed Cameron McGeehan as well on loan so I imagine Yates will be third choice.

Yup, think we’re a bit pissed off at the whole thing for exactly this reason. Heard that Yates isn’t particularly impressed by it either.

He’s not the kind to sulk though, sure he’ll knuckle down and can hopefully make the step up.

Reading your forum, some are suggesting £500k is too much.

People are idiots. Grant is a slightly weird/peripheral player mind but how many one in two midfielders are there knocking around at any level? With another two years after this left on his contract as well I would be wanting seven figures minimum. Not our decision mind, but would be nice to keep him until the end of the season.

Rumoured to have a release clause in his contract

That’d be the release clause in his current loan with us.

He signed a three year contract with Forest in the summer when he’d already had half a season playing really well with us - no way they’d have put a £500k release clause in it.

Oi Wigan, hands off Graham Carey! We've only just got out of the relegation scrap, I don't want to go back to it. Thank you.
I wouldn't worry BE old chap.
Why would he leave you to go to a smaller club?

I’d be surprised if we fork out that much on a player whilst we are in League 1, but I hope it is true. We need to add more quality and goals from midfield for a promotion push.

I’ve no inside info at all but would be very surprised if he ended up at Bradford for a couple of reasons:-

- He’s just bought a house in Notts and seems completely settled. With him having a comfy three year deal at Forest not only is a club signing him permanently gonna have to fork out a big fee but you’d assume also give him a big wage increase to want to relocate.

- If it was a loan, again, I can’t see him wanting to go somewhere that wasn’t local to Nottingham. Yates is from Lincoln so Scunny didn’t make much difference, but can’t see Grant fancying Bradford.

If he goes I think it’ll either be to a big Championship club who can offer him big wages (Norwich have been mentioned a lot) or someone local like Burton.

Bradford to Nottingham is hardly at the opposite ends of the country is it? If he doesn't go to Bradford it won't be for that reason.

Two hour each way commute every day? I suppose it's doable but wouldn't be for me personally.

Agree on the permanent, but we are also in the middle of trying to get a loan from the championship in. Regarding distance, that doesn’t wash with me. A number of our players travel similar distance and stay over without a problem, in fact the only players I’m aware that actually live near Bradford are the younger short term players who won’t be able to afford to live near Leeds or North Yorkshire like most of them. If Forest want to test him at a higher level and we’ve declared interest, then he will have little say in the matter and the clubs will cover his expenses so they’ll be no excuses for him. Like with Yates I doubt him or Notts County will have any say.

We’ll have to see if he gets called back in the next couple of days, if he plays for you on Saturday then he’ll probably be staying as Forest wouldn’t want him to risk injury.

Cobblers fans what's happened to Billy Waters.

16 goals last season with Cheltenham and a 3 year deal with you over the summer but not scored a goal for you? Apparently coming to us on loan.

Grant has a lot more of a say because he’s already got his three year deal there (with Yates they pretty much said back you come, we’ll offer you a long term contract but you’re off to Scunthorpe), but I can see where you’re coming from.

Nolan’s said that he’s available for Saturday in his pre-match presser, but will have to wait and see I guess.

Should imagine he'll be staying with you then if that's the case, I doubt Forest would want to risk him if not.

They might be small, but they have a load more dosh than us. What did Kerry Packer say “Everyone has got a bit of whore inside them. What’s your price?”

We signed a promising young striker and played him on the wing. Like we always do.

Hardly played, fans divided about him, some say he`s not good enough others say he hasn`t had a fair chance yet

James Vaughan seems to be signing for Wigan. Odd really as he'll do well for the rest of the season but he never seems to make the step up in the championship.
