Another interview this evening with our recruitment officer (Greg Abbott) and CEO (James Mason) on BBC Radio Leeds at 6pm-7pm.

It was pretty drab, to be honest. However, we established that we have submitted 2 bids for 2 Championship players (one a loan), and we’ve bid for a player in League One, who is said to be key name at the club itself.

We’re only signing players who have been playing regularly, and it’s likely that one of the 2 Champ players is Sean Raggett at Norwich.

We’re particular light in defence, but we’re also looking to sign a target-man to compete with Charlie Wyke.... and there seems to be shit loads to choose from.

Anyone any ideas who any of these might be, because the questions put to these two influential figure at the club were particularly poor, and made the interview somewhat pointless.

We’ve struggled recently due to injuries, but I would say we need at least 4 players this window.

We've signed 21 year old defender Ryan Delaney from Burton on a 2.5 year deal. No Football League experience, but by all accounts did very well for Cork on loan last year and made the Irish U21 team. Inevitably, he's a left sided player - an area we're not short on with McNulty, Canavan, Bunney, Ntlhe, Kitching, Done and Andrew already in the squad...
