One thing for sure is these play offs will he tough. I would personally like to see Chorley do it to for a local derby. But anyone but Salford and im happy. Who do you think will win it?

Well, we are the form team, unbeaten against the other 3 teams, having beaten Chorley & Kidderminster home and away and taken 4 points off Salford, so by all the known laws of football, we are screwed. :bdick:

From a purely selfish point of view I want Salford to go up. They might be the only other top-side this season that we can say we outclassed (home games in the cup and league), but with going full-time and and having tons of cash to throw about they look the most likely to be the strongest next season. Plus, despite being local, the paltry away allocation and the weird celeb-spotter fanbase makes it a pretty rubbish away trip. Their rise up the league's seems pretty inevitable so the sooner we can get rid of that circus the better.

I kind of agree, if we don't go up, I'd rather Salford be gone to try and level the playing field a little more. Think it would be tough enough with us, Stockport, Halifax, Darlo, Chorley, potentially teams like Brackley and Gloucester if they build upon this season, and who knows how York, Southport and North Ferriby will do.

i have a feeling NFU may well do a Hyde and Droysden and collapse....seems like the cash has stopped and the momentum gone or seems to have.

Quite pleased we ended up against Kiddie, hoping that Salford beat Halifax as I fancy we would beat them again, all to play for and anyone could win it. I make Halifax strong favoutites though.

What has happened to the last months posts?

With Leamington winning promotion today Gloucester or Brackley will be moving South

Congrats to Leamington. Was at the game today, a great atmosphere and what fashion to win the game after the last min penalty.

Some big news for Worcester coming up apparently, my guess is it's Lee Hughes is going to be the manager.

According to Gary Neville on twitter. The Halifax budget this season is more than Salfords

Gutted for Kidderminster By far the best footballing side I saw lthis season. Yet Chorleys brand of "football" won. Sums up this level.

So a return visit to Salford then. Hopefully the ground improvements mean its more enjoyable than last time.

And yes. Todays results mean its going to be another tough, tough league next year. I fully expect us to struggle badly once again.

to be fair DSL, this league is pretty much split 50/50 long before today and your lot, like Curzon, Telford, Gainsborough, FCUM, BPA, Boston...maybe Nuneaton......we are already just planning on making sure we survive and have a wild hope of top half.

Yet only one club can afford to operate a play-off chasing squad on gates of 1200 and ticket prices of £7. Those saints at Salford must all be playing for free.
