the whole country will see and hear tomorrow night ,proper away fans ,be suprised if you hear anything from fgr , gutted i am not going , that was probably our worst performance of the season , but ok we still won could have scored another 4 , as long as we have a strong referee again who watches out for the thuggery and sly fouls . if we score first i would not be suprised to see the ground empty out quickly ,,, swa swa

Have to admit Tranmere fans were some of the loudest I heard this season (along with Lincoln and Mansfield). We even stole your Tequila song and adapted it into something else...

Reckon Tranmere will be too much for FGR and will meet Mansfield in the final.

Three sides sold out now, just the leaves the north stand, I do believe that will sell out too.

Apparently their even moving more sheep into the field above the west terrace to try and menace the tranny fans stood beneath:woo:
Mmmm... mint sauce.

Joking apart, we eat veggie most of the time at home. Looking forward to seeing what the alternative football fayre is like.

Hoping Micky Mellon has a shit or bust tactical dilemma on whether to protect the lead or go for it and Tranmere dither.
i dont think any team at this level could play a certain way tactically for 90 mins although mansfield are the draw bore masters , really the question is can you play so dull again for 90 mins ? and will you finish the game with 11 ? cant see you playing 8 at the back at home ? seriously though we have to play better than we did the other night , we need to keep the ball better , all our players will be wearing full body armour after the vicious unprovoked attacks friday night . how was doigde not sent off , ? swa swa

After Nors' unprovoked assaults went unpunished the ref would have been embarrassed to penalise anyone else :D

The atmosphere, in the main, came across as flat as a fart on the TV. Couldn't hear anything.
It was very good in the ground in the first half. Just shows that watching football on the TV is never a substitute for being at the game.

how long approx did your journey take ? around 3 hours perhaps ? swa swa

Best part of 4 hours! 3.5 coming back, roads quite then. Friday rush hour time is not the best. I got off the M6 at Wolverhampton and came-up through Salop and Whitechurch etc, even that was a ball ache. Came back via M56/M6 long stretches of 50 and 30mph on there. Leave 4.5 hours for sure. Then you have to find parking. The Park n Ride would be the surest place to park if time is tight. Thats on the A46 about on the left 1 mile before you get to Nailsworth. There is parking at the School up at the ground plus, a big Field. Parking at the stadium is £7 I think and will be full anyway. Have a safe journey.

Only just got around to weighing in with my two pence worth. I don’t think I’ve ever came away from Prenton Park so flat after a win. Friday night felt much of a missed opportunity given the circumstances and that Forest Green would of taken that result as early as the fifteenth minute.

Having slept on it since I’ve come round to accept we are in a fantastic position. Let’s face it we’re ninety minutes away from Wembley. Looking at Forest Greens home record aswell we should go in optimistic. Not expecting an easy game tomorrow, will be a nervy start I should imagine. A draw will be enough but the second you set up for that you’ve already lost the battle.

Let’s just hope both sides do their talking on the pitch and this thread can become amicable.

Oh and Junior Mondal? Your names Lewis Clive Scoble, grow up.

Seat smashing again? Hope we send them the bill and accompany it with an accurate figure of the amount of crude oil it will take to make the new plastic for replacement seats - make Dale Vice choke over his cornflakes!

Having said that, I'll have to dig out my sample of Leyton Orient's main stand one day...

Won't hear any from me, I was pleased we didn't struggle again and came on with good finds like Mills and think Tranmere are a decent side who've earned it too. Though might have a moan if we fall short shooting ourselves in the foot Mad Gav style.
Beautiful morning down here, Cotswolds at their finest. Get down early if you can Wirralites and get a Winstones ice cream on the Common in the sun.

Looking forward to this, no real nerves this time nothing to lose, should have been out of it but are right in it and everyone at the club are massively fired up after the injustice of Friday.

The reaction at the end of that game said everything,

We know we're the better side and without that useless Busby homer in charge reckon we can do some serious damage. COYR.

Cannot wait for the bitterness of whoever loses this.
its going to last for years , we can add them to the list its pretty long already ! we have a slender lead dont think its enough but can see us scoring so will fgr score 2 or more only time will tell , if we score first can see epic fgr tactics being deployed , lets see how they respond to that game on ! swa swa

In Tranmere's favour, we only scored two goals or more at home in a league game six times in the regular season, achieving that feat no less than thirteen times away from home. We only scored two or more at home against one team in the top half of the table, which ironically was Tranmere. We are an away team.

I fancy us to score this evening, but probably only the one goal, if our defence play like they did for the majority of the game on Friday we could be heading for extra-time and penalties.

Well if it goes to penalties my top tip is don’t let your top scorer take one.
