Paul Konchesky has joined East Thurrock as player/assistant manager
....back in November he left The Circus due to 'other commitments' .... those 'commitments' rumoured to be running his own burger van.... I guess vegetarianism has spread from Forest Green to the depths of Essex.Paul Konchesky has joined East Thurrock as player/assistant manager
Good luck with him mate he's got a dreadful attitude problem,we loaned him out after his tantrums and he's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is,last chance saloon for him i'd say.LW: Jason Banton
What is the going rate for adult admission in National South? Dulwich will be charging £12, I know some clubs will be £15,which seems a bit steep. I've just heard Woking will be £18.
Paying 15 quid to watch National League football is bad enough, let alone teams charging that for regional football.....Woking charging £18 is just taking the piss big time.I've just heard Woking will be £18.

So much for him saying they would stick to a budget of 10-11k a week. He seems to think their budget of just under 18k a week is sustainableFalse alarm, it's £15.
Tamplin's back on Twitter going on about signing 2 more big guns ffs.
You'll get used to this kind of nonsense after a few weeks. The bloke just can't help himself. Someone I trust recently spoke directly to Wheeler and apparently he said he'll walk away if Tamplin starts interfering. So much for him saying they would stick to a budget of 10-11k a week. Also i thought he was gonna let Harry Wheeler manage the team
Tamplin said: “Harry and the boys have asked me to come back because they’ve seen what I have done at the club and they believe I’m the final piece of the jigsaw.
“As a result, I’m back as the No.2. I won’t be dressed in the training gear and I’ll be what they call a suit manager.
“I was a sledgehammer that didn’t work last year. I want to be there as a rock and be there when it goes wrong. I’m completely the opposite to what I was last season.
“I’ve said sorry to Harry and the lads and put everything right.
“Harry is in charge because he is an amazing manager. The club is very lucky and blessed to have Harry as manager.
“I am the assistant manager and Danny Hazle is the No.3. We have said that to the players.
“Harry and I will pick the side together and it always has to be picked together, but if there are two players fighting for the same spot in the team then Harry gets the final say.”
Is this "next season" starting in a fortnight, or 2019/20?Hmm... looks like Truro may well be groundsharing at Plainmoor next season.

Really want to do Truro but Hamlet are duethere on FA Cup 1st Round weekend so there's a good chance it'll end up on a midweek in winter.
As much as people rave about Truro away, the city itself isn’t all that. First time we played there, we took around 300 on the first May bank holiday fantastic trip -ask Aber about his memories - but since then, the last two visits have been at less favourable times, and we were down to just over a 100 last season.
Truro is dull as dishwater. Even Newquay is pretty scuzzy , though there is a pub there open to 4am in the morning. Need to fit in trips to Falmouth and Padstow for a better experience.
Thoughts on Concord this season? Seem to have invested more but wouldn't expect them to b much more than mid-table.
It's really just the novelty of going further West than ever before. I'd be equally excited about Workington or Blyth. As much as people rave about Truro away, the city itself isn’t all that. They've recruited an inexperienced manager from the league below who did nothing special at Leatherhead on a big budget and has taken a load of Isthmian players with him. I'd be amazed if they finish above Dulwich, yet they're about half the odds to win thedivision.Thoughts on Concord this season? Billericay have signed Callum Kennedy from AFC Wimbledon and Rickie Hayles from Dulwich Hamlet. Going the other way is Byron Lawrence who leaves Billericay to sign for Dulwich.
Harry Wheeler isn't stupid and granted I'm only basing this off one game but that defence needed improving big time or it would have been exposed terribly in the Conny Sarf.
A few other clubs are announcing signings whilst Hampton will announce 8 new signings tomorrow morning - if the rumour mill is correct 3 players we had last season will be heading there.
