Wouldn't have thought so, you've got Lincoln coming up...
Not 100% sure how busy this part of the forum is but Lincoln, Mansfield, Bury, Exeter, Tranmere etc are all well represented on here they'll be quite a few posters moving up one way or another.

Every Luton fan has been saying it for a while but nice to have it in black and white. Never mind League 1, you won't find a better pair of fullbacks in the whole EFL than JJ and Jack.

With all of the talk and calls for Justin to come in and play, justifiably as its proved, I think it got lost a little bit just how good Stacey actually was this whole time as he was the one keeping JJ out for so long. Thankfully we have found a way of getting both in the side and its arguably that which has got us to this position.

Think Stacey has really stepped it up to another level over recent weeks as well, his performance against Doncaster was outstanding. Probably our player of the season in my view, with Shinnie a very close second.

The Shinnie/Stacey combo down the right side of the diamond is such a perfect match. Shinnie finds his runs to the byline with ridiculous frequency.

Our first goal on Saturday, all I could think at the time was "I've seen that one before." Hope someone cleverer than me puts together a video compilation of all the goals we've scored this season from that same Shinnie -> Stacey -> Collins combination.

Someone is going to need some seriously deep pockets to buy these two in the next few months.

Thats fine, this team was built on selling our better players and wisely re investing the funds to get players to fit a system we wanted to play. I’d be sad to see them go obviously as they’re good players but we have used this model to get ourselves in the current position.

Of the both of them I think Stacey is the one who will leave in the summer whatever happens, got a feeling our esteemed former manager will be in for him. Think we’ve got one more year of JJ.

Now that's out of the way it's make or break time in the promotion push.

Accrington away tomorrow and Rochdale away on Saturday. With Barnsley not taking full advantage of our time away from the league it would be really nice to get 6 points from those games but there's now the danger of a post-Wembley lull and tiredness setting in.

Noticed the forecast is rain in Accrington, still haven't dried out from the last visit.

Afraid Accy are in real trouble, they started the season so well but have slipped badly. They never looked like scoring on Saturday against us and cant see anything but a win for you lads tomorrow night
Nice pint in the Crown round the corner from the ground, and good pies, half price at the end of the match - wrap up well, b...well !

So we’ve released our ST plans for next season as well as ticket prices on a match day. If we don’t get promoted, match day prices remain the same, however the biggest category Championship games are £30 for an adult.

Also it will be £550 for any ST application after 1 Jun. The good news is that if purchased within the next 4 weeks and have been a ST holder for 5 years it is £400.

I s'pose that we should be thankful that it was two proper teams that were in the final as opposed to an an academy side. If my team had made it - don't laugh at the back - I would have boycotted. Yes, seriously, I would. I've not watched a Chuckaturd match since the academies were invited.

Blackpool for us tomorrow, all I can say is lets hope for a better goal keeping performance than the last time they came here!

Funny side i think, ostensibly a mid table side but are capable of pulling off the odd upset and have a more than decent away record this season as well. Hylton likely to be back for us, but surely should only make the bench given form of others. I think there is perhaps an outside chance that Lee gets dropped to the bench for Moncur perhaps, hasnt really got going since returning to the side and seems to be trying a little bit too hard to get things going for him. With the quality we have that position in particular I could see us resting him. We did something similar with Shinnie last season, although we weren't on a crazy run then!

A win tomorrow and its going feel really close to being over the line I think.

Personally I'd have McCormack back at DM, move Pelly back to his usual position, and stick Berry instead of Lee. In that position Berry is ten times the player that Lee is, IMO.

Up front, who knows?

Agree with that. Don't think Lee has played at the same level he did earlier in the season. Berry is a better option with Pelly in the position he plays best. Lua Lua didn't have the best of games against Rovers but he offers so much pace and trickery. A nightmare for any defence. Not a great fan of Hylton and Collins up front together and at the moment Collins is the better of the two. Our bench can offer so many options should we need to change things. Heard the Blackpool manager saying we won't like to play them. I have to disagree. More a case of them not wanting to play us.

And then we could have a bench of Hylton, Cummings, Connolly, Lee, Cornick, Moncur,
and Isted.
Just in case we need a goal at the end!

Luton 1-1 Blackpool
Luton were completely dominating for the first 25 minutes - the away side not getting out of their half barely. They huffed and puffed and ran out of steam a bit. Then James Shea comes out for a ball he’s not going to win exposing an empty net for an equaliser. Blackpool not had a chance before or since. A gift.

Luton equalise through Jason Cummings! And were down to 10 due to a James Collins brain fart.

Commiserations to Mr L. Collins (Surrey), a valiant attempt to break Luton’s long unbeaten run but you couldn’t quite manage it in the end.

Odd game, first half was like an attack vs defence training match, bit of magic from Lua Lua opened the door for us and looked set for a pretty straightforward afternoon. Looked an error from Shea for the first goal, from their first shot.

That gave them a bit of a lift and they started the second well, looked like we were just getting back control of the game and Collins does his one a season stupid sending off. Can have no complaints about it really, blatant red card. Probably one of the only things the ref actually got right today, some utterly bizarre decisions from him and total lack of any consistency at all. First half was open season and second everything was a yellow!

We did so well with 10 after the goal though, Pelly was absolutely immense I thought and fully deserved MoTM for his efforts, so many were out on their feet at the end and gave everything. Could and perhaps should have actually won it at the end with Moncur through on the goal but let’s not be greedy!

Blackpool looked a real solid defensive unit but didn’t offer a great deal on the attack today.

Really tough game next week, especially if we have a knocks picked up after todays efforts. Charlton probably the best or second best side I’ve seen this season, sort of had it circled for a while as the one that might end the unbeaten run so was important we picked something up today.

Genuinely don’t say this often - but some of those decisions were absolutely baffling. Did he forget his cards in the first half?

Write us off for second at your peril.

Looking forward to putting an end to Luton’s run next week.
