I remember Lee Hughes doing a steering wheel celebration in front of The Pontoon after he killed somebody whilst drunk driving, haha what a right joker he was, so remorseful, top guy.

Are you absolutely sure you remember seeing that?

Surprised you haven't mentioned that a dozen or so times before if true.

Thought I'd be a lot nervous than I am. I'm surprisingly calm. Still got to wait just over an hour for the train down. Maybe the nerves hit when I see the famous Wembley Arch later?

May the best team win. As I said before I certainly won't begrudge Crawley and their amazing story the win if the worst was to happen to us. There's no oblivion for us if we lose today because I'm confident we can challenge again. But winning today could transform the club with the new TV deal kicking in that'll effectively pay for the Academy itself with significant change left over. It means we'll be able to have a much stronger attempt to re-establish us in League One compared to our last two stints when we had bugger all money and thats where the club needs to be in order to be profitable.

Hopefully Mickey Demetriou will be lifting that trophy this afternoon! Up the Alex!

Just on the way to Stockport Station now. I hadn't been too nervous until today but the nerves are kicking in now.

Come on, The Alex!

Amazing to win, horrible to lose no matter what you tell yourself before the game.

I hope the best team wins on the day, at the end of the day you've got to be in it to win it so there are 19 other sides from L2 this season who are jealous of Crewe and Crawley's possession and opportunity today.

Good luck to both, it's a great way to go up and even if you lose there's always next season, every single supporter in L2 knows what it is to lose so you'll all get over it.

Good luck to both teams. I am very jealous.
The selfish part of me wants Crewe to win as Crawley is a more local, but I really like Lindsay, a good guy and he has done an amazing job at Crawley.
Enjoy the day.

That's a fantastic finish from Orsi. See how Crewe can respond now.

Yeah cracking finish by Orsi. Crewe have come into it more but I feel like Crawley are just about deserving of the lead.

Liam Kelly pulling the strings so far.

Decent performance from Crawley overall though Crewe had their moments too. I did think before the game started that the big pitch and warm day might affect Crawleys pressing but no issues so far for them. Still all to play for, just hope VAR doesn't play any role in deciding this.

Crawley deservedly ahead but I can’t help but notice from watching these play offs is the gulf in difference between League One and Two in terms of physicality. Whoever comes up out of these two will be relegated in 12 months barring improvements.

Oh my, what were Crawley doing there?? Looks like VAR is about to bail them out though.

Seeing the replay Addai did brilliantly there to get a touch on that. If that's a dive Long should surely have a yellow now?

Crewe given a lifeline with how if has easy it has been for Crawley so far. Long royally messed that up, what was he thinking?

What was Long thinking? He must have known VAR would catch him out there?

It's not even like he didn't have loads of time to go round Addai

Ref should've spotted that without needing VAR - horrific dive. Just a shame he wasn't booked afterwards.

Why do they dive when they know VAR is being used?

A blatant dive and he's not booked. How can that be right !?
