This'll be bloody hard. Burnley are in good form and Dyche will set them up really well. Our fixtures are always tight, draws or won by a single goal. A draw again wouldn't surprise me at all.

We've chalked up a good run of results lately, 4 wins and a draw in the last 6. That draw coming at Swansea weekend just gone, where we looked a little off our usual recent pace. We do miss Junior Stanislas who is our most creative player, without him we're a bit more rigid and mechanical. Ibe is so erratic he can look brilliant or useless from one game to the next so it's impossible to say how creative he'll be. Still we know if we can feed Wilson and King will they get goals, and our defence is much improved recently with Nathan Ake in superb form.

Going into a tough month now where we've got 10 games up to Jan 1st, including 5 of the current top 7. Every point we can scrape will be appreciated.

What are they putting in the water in Burnley

I'm probably not the first person to say that...

Burnley did enough there to win, nothing spectacular but then it is Burnley, they eased past us and merited a 2-1 win. I have no complaints about them. Only our own issues which Howe is struggling to get to gripes with, mostly midfield.

A side needs a midfield to function fully, and that's the black hole in our side currently. The ball either bypasses midfield, or it goes in there and magically comes out in the opposition's possession.

Sometimes we'll get away with a defence and attack good enough to make up for the midfield, have done several times lately. But Burnley are a decent side and simply good enough to out rank a Bournemouth side minus a working midfield.

Lovely finish for their second goal at an absolutely crucial time in the game, as we were just starting to improve. If they don't score that it would have ended in a comeback 1-1 draw, but that was a nice and pivotal goal.

Burnley keep trucking on.
