Must be some lengthy investigation on gathering the facts, seems to have gone ever so quiet for the time being. Not unless its been swept under the carpet which I very much doubt It like.

Mangan got a 5 month ban when he was involved in the scandal at forest green but that was over a year after he had left Bury, the team that he had the bets against

There must have been some likelihood that he would eat a pie or the bookies would not have offered the bet. I understand he was given until 6pm next Friday to respond to the Football association charges.

He's never done anything like that before during a game. He literally let the fame of being the 'roly poly goalie' go to his head. If he hadn't boasted about knowing people who put bets on him doing so live on Good Morning Britain then the FA wouldn't have had much evidence (and SUFC would probably have stuck by him as the club asked him not to do media after the incident).

The whole S*nbets thing was a horrible PR mistake. Ignoring the vile nature of the s*n, it divided the fan base like never before, they made a mockery of our club for entertainment including exploiting Wayne Shaw and it was just embarrassing (but not as bad as the deal a certain other bookmaker was offering). Interestingly the PR guy brought in to facilitate the deal and handle the media around the Arsenal game is now Wayne Shaw's representative
