Wrexham v Woking

Non of this weekends fixtures have caught my eye, other than Torquay v Solihull which already looks like a relegation 6 pointer. Can't see many away wins amongst this lot, having said that Tranmere are bound not to win against Boreham. Unless they can find a cure for their play off final hangover, which for me would be playing Jennings just behind the front 2.

I wonder which away team will get the short straw and get Sam Allison as referee this weekend?

7 away games across 2 divisions and a play-off semi final - 1 goal conceded, 6 clean sheets. We'll be alright. :cool1:

The West Yorks 'derby' could also be pivotal in the relegation stakes, with neither side starting the season well. Another game which will be interesting is the Orient v Eastleigh clash, with both sides at least play-off contenders.

Rovers previous home games v Boreham Wood have seen a rude awakening after a good start, losing 0-2 and arguably a season-changing cruciate injury to Ben Tollit keeping him out of our promotion push. Agree with BITDHSS that playing Connor Jennings in his best position would be an improvement from the manager, as would more variety on the bench, but think a draw most likely. On referees, there doesn't seem to be much good reported on Paul Marsden in the middle for a Rovers game for the first time

Not arsed about Aldershot v Chester as much but will favour Chester.

Football League Brotherhood is getting eroded big time.

Expect our wait for a first away point of the season to go on, though having said that over the last couple of years "El Plastico" has always been a tight match (really hate that name though, so tinpot).

We never win at the Moss Rose (even when Macc have an outfield player in goal for 90 mins) and it's always a dire game. We'll probably lose 1-0 or 0-0 draw.

Gutted I can't go as I like Macclesfield but we wouldn't have been able travel by train on the Saturday anyway, so no real loss having it on the Friday and gets us an extra day's rest for Ebbsfleet on Monday.

Actually confident we can beat Woking. 2-1 in the worst game of football for a long time.

Carrington is suspended, and am putting hope in Keates going for a 4-3-1-2/Diamond after we tried it for a bit vs Maidstone before Sam Allison took centre stage; Kelly to play behind the front two and Akil Wright to come into the side.
Manny Smith is a big miss at the back, young Olly Marx comes into the side.. can see us being shaky defensively.

Please win.

Expecting, hoping? Two new players in before Saturday, Bowman and a centre half as we are looking weak at both ends.

We will out-shit Woking 2-1.

I will be at whatever game Sam Allison is reffing, hurling abuse after WHAT HE DID.

Having done exactly zero research, I am of the assumption that Eastleigh are a tinpot bankrolled bunch of no-marks with a slew of really slow, old ex-League players and no away fans. How (wildly in)correct am I?

Wrong LOTAL. They are an up and coming side full of experienced players who have been there and done it. Ben Williamson and Sam Togwell are far too good for this level. Once they get promoted, I can see them doing a Burton and reaching the Championship. Richard Hill is an excellent manager as well

I can't wait for Eastleigh to have gone for a Burton.

Tough game home to Bromley. If we show some grit, I think we'll win. If we're as poor defensively as we have been over the last 3 games, then we'll lose.

Spot on but they will win their fair share of games. If you want to be near the top this are the games you need at least a point from.

Not even going to bother predicting our game at home to Bromley other than there will be lots of goals. We will spank a team soon don't think it will be this game though.

It's the latest batch of referees sent from the National League with strict instructions to ref out the 'unpopular' part-timers and Tranmere
Amended it for you

We'll probably lose to Eastleigh as they're an experienced side and we're still very much a work in progress, even though on paper we're evenly balanced IMO.

I see Paul McCallum is probably going to be injured (No suprise there), which is good because he was bound to score if he played.

Looking forward to Master D's review of Richard Orlu trying to pass the ball out from the back.
