He still has a way to go to being a solid championship striker but there is the potential, he linked well with Tammy so will have to see how he links with the others as Tammy's scoring prowess reduced the importance on him scoring as his finishing and first touch leave a lot to be desired.

Taylor's movement and work on the ball is good, though his first touch can let him down and he kept snatching at his chances infront of goal.

If he can regain that composure infront of goal that he shown at Rovers he'll easily be worth 15 goals to us if played every week.

Any of you received a new season card even though you are in the same seat as last year?

I understood that if you're not moving seats or age group, you won't receive a new card, they just add it to your old one.
That first home game might be a good day to get in early as there are bound to be a few issues I should think.

Yeah I know but I have received a new card for the same seat and a long winded letter of nothing from Mark Ashton

Perhaps I should take both cards

I would give the club a call mate. I certainly haven't received new ones for me and the old man.
You haven't changed age groups or anything since last season?

Our very own Chris Wood has just holed out on the 18th from 200 yards to secure his place in the final 2 rounds of the Open! :)

This has to be the season he makes a big step forward. He's been very good in pre-season, his finishing particularly.

I don't think finishing was his issue, but more his composure, when he's under pressure and has less time he fluffs his lines.

If he has worked on his composure then we could well see a few more goals from him this season, rather than those misses.
