Need to win this one, which means we probably wont. Coady is suspended so we'll be forced to make some changes in defence. A lot of players haven't been at their best lately so it wouldn't suprise me to see certain players to be dropped.

Ruddy
Bennett - Batth - Miranda
Doherty ------------------- Douglas
Neves - Saiss
Costa ----------------- Jota
Bonatini
Prediction: 2-1 to Wolves

Took 4 points off wolves last season, would take the same this year. This fixture last season was a 2-1 win for us with a last minute winner. We played well.
We have been playing well lately too and had a good set of results, but we got dicked Tuesday night against villa so confidence will be knocked.
Would be happy with a point - and to tighten up the defence.
Prediction - 1-1

Very surprised to see Douglas dropped again. I wonder if something is going on with him? Good to see Bonatini swapped for Cav though.

Douglas picked up a knock on Wednesday according to what I read.

Did anyone see Leo Bonatini's goal, the magic from Ivan Cavaleiro? Warnock went right over on his arse.

Edit: here

Just seems an odd criticism, for as vain as Ronaldo is, there was once a time when his career was on par with Wayne Rooney, one of them is now in the talk of being one of the greatest players of all time, and the other is at a mid tier club and just been in trouble for drink driving. Ronaldo may be dislikable personally but his work ethic and dedication to improvement.

Sorry to take all the fun out your comment though, I do always appreciate from Frink.

I thought we were talking about Zeli Ismail. Which legend are we on about?

"No fewer than six Portuguese players were named in Wolves' starting XI.

To put that into context, Benfica had two in their team at the weekend. As did Porto. Sporting Lisbon had four.

In fact of all 18 Portuguese top flight teams only Tondela (9), Pacos de Ferreira (8) and Vitoria Setabul (8) fielded more Portuguese players than Wolves."

How many players moved over from Portugal to the Championship this summer?

Seemed a lot, obviously Wolves signed a bunch but pretty sure Fulham signed at least 2 and Sheff Wed at least one.

Feeder league.

We have 6 in the first team, and a few in the under 21 squad. Pretty much all of the backroom staff are Portuguese too. Leo Bonatini and Willy Boly could also be eliglbe to play for Portugal as both have spent time playing there previously. Shame we still don't have Joao Texiera anymore...

Sheff Wed have a few. Semedo, Matias, Lucas Joao, Venancio (as well as Carvahal).

As Mark said, Wednesday signed Venancio. Fulham signed Rui Fonte for £9m(?) and he looks like a complete waste from what I've seen of him so far.
