Fucking hell it's 2016 and Neil Warnock, Kevin Blackwell and Ronnie Jepson are parading the technical area in the Championship

Well that was certainly a Neil Warnock side we played tonight! I dont think we can have any complaints, we were rubbish.

Warnock celebrating the win like a promotion

One of our worst performances of the season, if not the worst, not sure we actually deserved to lose it mind.

We never got going today. I've seen Cardiff play Blackburn and Reading this season, and today, from them, was almost night and day from what I've seen. Typical.

Can't argue with the result really. We never got going or perhaps more accurately Cardiff never allowed us to get going. Had to score there at the end but they deserved it overall

Utter shit, didnt deserve much but fuck me what a homer that ref and lino were.

Offside for their pen.
Blatant pen for us.
Every fucking 50 50 going to Cardiff

We had no shape or tactics second half.
Little and Freeman god awful. What the fuck is the point of the latter.

And yet we still should have equalised at the end cos Caerdydd shit too

That referee James Linnington... I reckon a City fan must have stole his missus because he always seems to have it in for us. I remember him robbing us vs Middlesbrough a few years back and got jeered off the pitch. He's a prick.

(I am absolutely not using that as an excuse for tonights result/performance by the way)

Is it easier to score in League 1 or the Premier League? :pond:

In case you were wondering, Lambert smashed 81 league goals in League One over the duration of three seasons.

Completely anonymous today as expected and no I wasnt wondering

To be fair Noon was level and wasn't a foul on Little for me, as wasn't in possession of the ball.

What has possession of the ball got to do with anything? He was in on goal without the foul.
That the twats gave a free kick shows how clueless they are.

Noone was offside but it was tight so I won't really complain about that.
The penalty shout was as blatant as theirs, Little was a step away from the ball with no one else within a few yards of it other than Hoillett who had already fallen over. He then lifts his body enough to trip Little.

Bit icy between SC and LJ there, SC doesn't say a word to him, then LJ snubs the handshake.

It comes to something when we still play shit yet that was our best performance in God knows how long. I've not seen any replays of anything so can't comment on the offside or your penalty shout. Got no complaints about your goal as has been said there was no need to put the ball out or stop play. Us stopping though is downright criminal and should never have happened.
One thing for definite is we would never in a million years have got that result with Trollope in charge.
And for the first time in a long time, it actually felt like a derby game!

Warnock effect starting early then. No surprises there, they'll be top half minimum this season, possibly better...

Our fans are knobs too it seems, throwing flares into the Cardiff area underneath the ground.
Was it fuck, Cardiff fans were throwing fire crackers over and knocked down the barrier.

Let's not get carried away.

We were shite tonight. Shame we didn't put in a performance for the cameras, but we could've so easily nicked it at the end there but it wouldn't have been deserved.

Tomlin excellent again, a goal out of nothing such is the individual talent in this side.

We go again on Tuesday, quite a favourable run of fixtures coming up now.

Did they? Was actually outside when it happened, someone told me it was us. must of been back upstairs when the barrier thing happened. Either way, was sat right on the edge near the Cardiff fans and they are the most bizarre set of fans I've came across. Particualy the 2 grown men getting themselves worked up over the kids in front of me taking the piss out of them all game.

As for the game, didn't perform well at all but shouldn't have lost that. Typical warnock team that was, frustrating as fuck to watch as it was difficult to get any rhythm going with those tactics and the ref and Lino didn't help. Quality from bamba to stop a certain goal at the end, but if you were to ask the linesman it was a missed sitter from o dowda!

I've literally just left mate, got kept outside the ground. They let us out, it all kicked off and then we were segregated.

Feel sorry for those getting the train back, well.... they won't be getting the train back. Last one was at half 10.

We were. Lucky then, looked like it was going to kick off but we managed to get out just before it seemed. Did wonder why there wasn't many city fans at the station.

Seen the replays now, the offside against Noone is one of those that's impossible to call in real time so it is a case of bad luck on that one. The penalty incident for me was one of those that literally could have gone either way, just so happens we were the lucky ones this time round. All in all I enjoyed tonight, the whole place had a different buzz to it, something that hasn't been around there for a long long time.
Bamba and Tomlin were the standout players tonight as well. Not gonna lie the fat bastard was a joy to watch, just a shame he dives like Tom Daley.

Your lot launched two flares into the home end as well.

We were fucking awful. Deserved nothing from the game. Full backs useless, Freeman and Patterson useless and Pack and O'Neil useless. Were too slow moving the ball, and barely tested Amos. Ahwell that's football, done for the weekend.

Still pissed off this morning. That Linnington is now on the list along with the likes of Gavin Ward. Why do we get the prick refs against a Warnock team?

Seen the highlights, as confirmed it was a clear pen not given and there was (surprise surprise) nothing wrong with their fairy before our goal.

Hate the red taffs, hate Warnock, hate the fact we should have turned up and done them over but didnt.

Referee was fucking awful, but I don't want to dwell on it. We didn't deserve anything from that last night and your luck with officials will usually even itself out over the course of a season.

It's gonna be one hell of a ride this season.

That prick ref could have quite easily sent off Tomlin and Bryan for you lot so don't think you had it all against you.

Just from what I can gather from the highlights, impossible to see whether Noone was onside or off, does seem very close and being honest in any situation like that I'd rather the attacking side got the benefit. Can't complain about their penalty, poor from Bryan, Noone has knocked the ball the wrong side of him (for Noone himself) don't stick out a leg and just use your body to position yourself so he can't get round you and clear it.

As for our penalty shout, it does look like you can see the defender move and take Little down while he's on the floor, too hard to say for certain though. However the part that puzzles me is the foul given to Cardiff, was Little booked for diving after as that's the only reason I can think so, there's no foul from Little as the defender is already on the floor when he goes down and no whistle yet blown.

Reid had to score that chance at the end though, seems harder to miss.

Assume you're referring to Tomlin pushing his head against Lambert, in which case, Lambert should also have been off for pushing Tomlin in the face beforehand.
