Sorry, I'm unsure what this means.

I'd rather have LVG or Ferguson (obviously) than Mourinho's 0-0 play, but when we don't play for a draw we play better than we have since 12-13.

Absolutely. When an effort is made United have surprised even me. But surely that makes things even worse as a fan.

r/LiverpoolFC will be on Reddit.

Dunno why a Man Utd fan is reading a sub-Reddit for another club though, maybe your thinking of changing allegiances epic? I wouldn't blame you, being subjected to that from your manager.

I'm subscribed to all Premier League subs.

Why would it make it worse? I'd rather be inconsistent than be consistently bad.

As a fan seeing your team play well occasionally makes seeing the insipid shit that is served up even worse because you know it doesn't need to be that way.

LVG's football was far more boring than Mourinho's. Moyes' too. It probably puts things a little into perspective as to why we're allowing Mourinho such a leash, because he's also getting far better results. It's a far cry from the Ferguson days but there is legitimately no better option out there at the moment, though I would not be surprised if he leaves or is sacked during his third season if the entertainment value doesn't improve. I've said it since the managerial appointments were made, it pains me to see Klopp's brand of football at Liverpool, but what can you do? Can't keep sacking managers every season, United need a sustained run of success after the yoyo years of Moyes and LVG.

Read some strange comments. I would have thought that local bragging rights would be more important than a European quarter-final but Epic and Pags' comments seem to say otherwise...

Or maybe I'm out of touch...

Bayern currently 2-1 up in Istanbul (so 7-1 on aggregate) while I'm patiently waiting for Barca/Chelsea to kick off. Expecting Barca to progress but Conte is a good tactician so it could be a tight one.

No way in hell a single fixture (in this case of which you're guaranteed at least 2 a season) is more important than reaching the last 8 of the CL, even between hated rivals like Liverpool and United. I'm amazed anyone could consider it so.

I've always been a defender of Mourinho, but fuck me, how disappointing has this season turned out after such a promising start to the season. Unless a lot changes in him, it's going to bet another top manager the game has left behind.

This comment surprises me especially coming from an Englishman. You're notorious for prioritizing the league and not filling your ground for Europe (or is that just Man City?).

IMO United fans value the CL match more because it actually mattered, but Liverpool valued it more because they "won".

Eh? Not filling the ground? Have you ever watched a European night at Anfield?

Aren't you American? No disrespect but, if so you can't understand what goes on between the fans of the clubs.

And no, Liverpool fans value progressing to the last 8 more than a single game against United as I've explained already. To suggest otherwise is stupid.

Almost all of my knowledge on the opinions of the fans comes from Reddit so you're probably right on the first point. I was never talking about the Liverpool-Porto match, just comparing the United matches against Sevilla and Liverpool.

Yes I have. I doubt you can prove that Anfield has been sold out on every occasion since the creation of the Champions' League, UEFA Cup or Cup Winners' Cup. It's often easier to get tickets for EL than Premiership games in my experience.

I was having a dig at City anyway.

Think I'd be frustrated if I were a Chelsea fan. Lots of possession and chances but not a sausage to show for it. An away goal may have made a world of difference, but I suppose we'll never know...

Chelsea has given everything and the fans know it, unfortunately Barcelona is stronger
The away goal was very heavy psychologically.

Lionel Messi scored the fastest goal of his career tonight (first goal) and his 100th goal in the Champions League (second goal)! :hail:

Add an assist for Dembele too! :woo:

We fear no one.
