1,202 Barnsley at Burton on Tuesday night as per the Barnsley Chronicle.

Interested to see how many Blues bring today, can only remember them bringing 800-1400 the last 4 or 5 visits but their support has been great this season considering how bad they've been on the pitch.

Only 18k home fans at Bristol
Cardiff must be the worst. Flying high and have some proper poor crowds. Wolves should be selling out every home game too, but only 24k there Friday night and they are on about having a 50k capacity.

Interesting to hear Chelsea when in the second division in the 80s had the third biggest away support after united and Liverpool. There were times when they were taking half of what they were getting at home.

Agree it was poor but like you say, a Friday night match and on TV. If it was a normal Saturday 3pm game it would have been around 28k. Fulham's support didn't really help the number either.

In the 80’s there were a fair few clubs who would take a large percentage of their home crowd to away games. In those days I would go to the odd Burnley away game, with a mate of mine who was a Burnley fan, in the old 3rd Division and they would often take over the town they were visiting. I can remember when we came back up to Division 1 we were taking huge followings all over the country in the promotion season. The difference then was that you would get larger allocations and the policing weren’t so concerned around numbers of away fans and the potential for trouble, plus you could just turn up get in, even if it was the home end and then get moved to the away end.

It's your "Derby" expected at least 25k there
No different to any other game now other than it's just more expensive. Rivalry died right down as soon as Cardiff moved from Ninian Park and started fucking about with red shirts.

Do you blame them?
Absolutely not. Their team were abysmal yesterday and deserved the "you're not fit to wear the shirt" chants at the end.

3178 for QPR sold out.

Allocation for Leeds is 2545. Seems like they have cut down the away allocation this season.

Surprised by our numbers at Forest. At least a good number got to witness us making history in most attempts without winning in the league (28 I believe).
