What pubs did you end up in Saturday?
We went to The Globe, The Graduate and then went to Bankers Draft then straight onto the tram and got in at about 10 to, quality pubs mate I loved Sheffield. Coming back up for new year's eve and then back down to Villa the next day.

They were decent pubs but the first two very small, I was already pissed right up so just enjoyed further pints with mates.

Well, I've given in a holiday form today for SU away but it's gonna be unpaid, so see if it gets approved, if not will watch it in Bristol. If so I'll let you know, will see you for a few pints because of our bet and a chin test over what was said in the Wednesday thread.

In the masonic now for PNE game, think we'll lose having look at the lineups.

Don't think any of the 9 clubs will get a 4 figure following tonight. Maybe norwich at a push

Yep, lost but still showed a lot of fight, heart and bottle.
Wish we could say the same.

Not dissapointed in any way at all I'm fully confident we will win on Saturday. Nowt to be concerned about scoring 4 and losing its just a freak game

An appalling 276 Cardiff at Oakwell tonight.

Top 3, decent crowds at home and coming to a ground they have a great recent record at and they bring that. We'll take more than that down there the Tuesday we play them.

Their support is wank. Has been for a while now.

Basically, yes. They have just never been a club that has impressed me much with their away support. Big club with a big fanbase I'll give them that. Sunderlands away support, although not that great in numbers anymore has diminished even more this season, so you can forget them. I know they have been very good in the past, but it would take Leeds some years of struggling to start taking the numbers Sunderland are taking at the moment if ever at all, and it's their first season down here for a few years. You have better away support than Sunderland. We will be pretty consistent.
No chance have Wednesday got better away support than Sunderland, Wednesday are decent but Sunderland are going through a bad time, if they were doing well they would sell out everywhere like last time they were down here under keane.

They didn't sell out many until they started picking up results last time. That said I think they have cracking support.

Maybe not the best this season but Sunderland away support had always been outstanding for the last 20 years. Definitely better than Wednesday's in this time and I don't think any Wednesday fan would argue that. Norwichs following last night confirms that there's is up there with the best in the division too.

Wednesday would have better support away in the lower leagues than Sunderland would. I think it's pretty obvious to see that. Historically maybe not, but the here and now I'd rate Wednesday better. Sunderland for the last how many years have only been taking the lowest allocation possible at most grounds. I mean come on, I know Sunderland are struggling, but Wednesday have been in the wilderness for nearly 20 years. In not saying they have shit support, because that would be ridiculous.
