£515 a year is hardly cheap, that's on a three year deal.

True but it’s a lot cheaper than paying on the day.
It is too expensive but he’s trying his best to progress the club. I can see both sides.
Although personally I’d prefer paying affordable tickets and risk trying to get promoted the hard way.

Typical pig fan, hate being quoted facts.

We've been shit for 15 years from 2000 onwards without a pot to piss in. The two years of investment were top six finishes, this is a poor season.

Since I started going in the mid 80s we've finished above you more than the opposite, won cups, been to FINALS of Cups, finished 3rd in the country. That's facts.

I know both clubs histories really well as I’ve done work as a statistician.
Wednesday have had a few spells of success, 20’s, early 50’s, (big crowds under the Dooley years) early 60’s and early 90’s.

The Dooley years lasted a season and a bit, he only played 60 odd games.

We've had six more years in the top league despite not joining til after you as well....

Yeh but around that time 51,52 and 53 Wednesday got some huge gates, their heyday for support.

Thought Wednesday started in the top flight, voted in.
Whereas United were voted to start in the 2nd division, although we were promoted the 1st season.
Could be wrong as I’ can’t be bothered to check, not important really.

Alright, I’ll play along. Do you think there will be more Brummies in the away end when you play us?
Definitely! You're the only team in brum, proper brummies you lot are. You're not going to try and scare us with that nasty lulu chant are you?

I bet that night on your kop was awful for you lot. All those thousands of villa fans sounding like they had a stroke taking your main end :)

Christ how old are you?
I'm 48 and I only know about it through stories from the "older"lot. Promotion party for the stroke association society and relegation for us I believe.
Told between 15 and 20k Villa that day.
Would have been like spending a night on L floor at the Hallamshire hospital I imagine.

Ps Apparently Man U did it much better than you. (ie 500 didn't manage to move them halfway across the kop) ☺
No one else ever got close. (including that fearsome force from our own City)

35, and I'm only going by other people's accounts, but it seems plenty of Wednesday fans have admitted villa and Man Utd have taken it. Yeah we had around 17k there for a midweek promotion celebration. Not quite as many as the 20k we took to Notts county for a midweek match a few years earlier, but what a great time for football.

Yep, from all reports I have read every other clubs fans got shall we say "removed" only ones to stay on were Man Utd & You lot. (Both due to incredible numbers).

Strangely as a kid my Dad used to take me on the Leppings Lane in the 70s can't remember any trouble apart from what I thought was a snowball fight that got abit out of hand against Arsenal in the Cup.
Maybe I just didn't notice it.

The Kop was our main end in terms of size but the Lepp was where the main 'lads' stood back then but the stories about Villa and Man It's remain consistent, big numbers taking the Kop.

Not sure, but I think we had the leppings lane too. We had around 17k there, and not many of you.
