All time advanced season ticket ticket sales high announce today being 12,700. Incredibly surprised at that given there's been a shit load of protests about the pricing and structure of this years system.

We have 16,000 this year I'd be impressed if we got similar numbers, gone on general sale today.

Still on sale until Friday evening, probably break through, 4,000. Pity about the cost and kick off time, plus restrictions in seating, again imposed by SYPolice , otherwise would probably have filled the away end.

I really don't understand you lot.
Business end of the season, 30 mins away (if that) and you're struggling to sell out.
Had this match have been last season you would have sold out well in advance and could have shifted thousands more.
Not knocking your support, just find you a strange lot.

To be fair you can’t knock our support seeing as our average is one of the best in the Championship, and that after six years in the wilderness. As for Barnsley, only allowed one ticket per person. I rang up and tried to get a couple for mates and they wouldn’t sell me any.
Lots of Wednesday fans in Elsecar, Hoyland, Wombwell, Wath, Birdwell etc, Barnsley away like a home game for them
That said, we probably will sell out

You're having your best season in six years of course your support will be much improved, look at Wolves.

As for us having support in Wombwell etc they still need to be ST holders or members.

Purely down to the price, simple as that, only Wednesday away sold out at stupid prices and we were top 2 ish for a 1/3rd of the season. Our fans haven't accepted the stupid pricing of this league yet. We took 3800 odd to Preston for example at £24, we took 1800 to Norwich at £25 then only 1000 to Ipswich at 30/35, only 1700 to bolton at £32, only 2k to Boro at £30, didn't sell out Leeds at £39, purely is down to pricing imo.

As I stated I'm not knocking it, I just find it a bit strange.
Re your comments about it being a home game for some Owls fans, remind me where is S74?

Bittersweet that. Delighted that our fanbase is growing, disappointed that our fans have caved in and not stood up to the sheer greed from Ashton and co. Easier said than done though I suppose.

Sold about 550 for Reading. Utterly pathetic considering the prices and league position.

I could definitely go to Reading on Saturday, but I don't want to.

Shocking effort that. I always say I'm not going again but then always seem to end up going. Will decide tomorrow night.

Sold around 700 for Derby. Three straight weekends of away games, seems that most are choosing Barnsley next weekend (I am). Big few week coming up if we want to stay in the league!

Surprisingly given POTD at Millwall. Sold 1,800 but apparently you can have 2,900 in the top tier rather than the 2,067 allocated so makes sense I suppose.

You can't have 2900 in the top tier, it only holds 2100 max.

Are you sure? I read earlier it was 2,900. There's no chance they'll open the bottom tier for us and Fulham away we had nearly 400 POTD in midweek so I can't imagine they'll risk it.

Ipswich away sold out(2020). Asked for more, but they have refused.
Pretty poor from us to not give you 3500 but should imagine the way the Leeds lot acted would've put Suffolk police off that. Will be 14,000 empty seats so it's a shame

Yes, the whole end only holds 4K. We've got them last day of the season. We'd easily sell bottom and top tier, but WMP have said we will only get the top tier on safety grounds. It's rare they allow the bottom tier to be opened.

Rumour going round Fulham have lower tier, cannot see it myself but they don't seem to have a bastard element every other club has.

They've only sold 1500 so no chance bottom will be needed

Bit like Norwich ain't they. I remember Liverpool having the bottom tier a few years back, and I think charlton had it too. I can understand why it hardly ever gets used. If we beat them last day to deny them a play off spot, they will be on the rampage.

To be fair to Fulham they do have a few lads about, always used to travel surprisingly well with England back in the early 2000s.
