Second trip of the week to this neck of the woods and going via St. George's Park today.

Last time we were at Cheltenham, we lost 3-0 in the final game of the season that saw them crowned Champions. Little did we know we'd be in the same shoes a year later!

No Bostwick, who serves a one match ban for 5 yellows, so he'll be a massive miss. I suspect Whitehouse will come in because he's more likely to do the nitty gritt stuff and get stuck in, although he's more of an attacking midfielder really. There's not really a replacement for Bostwick in the squad.

Sounds as though we might get Habergham and Anderson back, with the latter particularly good news because we've missed him on the wing.

About 600 tickets sold in advance and with pay on the day, hopefully push 750 odd.

I think the biggest test for either side will be Storm Brian by the sounds of it!

Not sure Anderson will play because my brother saw him in the stand at Swindon and said he was limping. Whether that's game management I have no idea!

3-1 mate Waterfall scored for us, That was the game Bradley Wood was sent off in for being spat at by a Cheltenham player who later got an 8 game ban.

Surely not a Cheltenham player being a complete and utter arsehole.

Who would have thought :shut:

I think it was Storer, who was always a dirty, gobby bastard at Kiddy, and from memory, bit Wood rather than spat at him.

Of course it was Storer and it was bit not spit Bradley, from memory I'm sure a Woking player tried to bite Bradley the week before.

It was Storer who bit the lad after a tussle on the floor - no defence for the bite and it cost Stoz massively last season as he couldn't get going and was sent off in something like his 3rd game back for another 3 match ban.

He didn't play on Tuesday at Grimsby and by God did we miss him. He's similar to an ex-Lincoln and Cheltenham captain, John Finnigan, in that when he's on the pitch you think he's disposable but when he's not playing you realise exactly what it is he brings to the team, reliability, fight and clear leadership. I am praying he's back tomorrow.

Our defence has been properly Jekyll and Hyde this season, from shite to fantastic, then back to shite for the last couple of games. Hopefully we'll go back to being decent again tomorrow. We've got goals in us and hopefully the only Storm Brian we'll be talking about is Brian Graham back in the starting 11 and putting a few past the Imps keeper.

We need to stop the rot, I'd take a draw and solid defence performance. 0-0

No way, Cheltenham players wouldn't do that they are pure as the driven snow.

As expected, Whitehouse in for the suspended Bostwick. Anderson not made the squad, Habergham has to settle for a place on the bench.

Lost 1-0 to Cheltenham, now that's never happened before...
Some 'interesting' decisions by the ref from the radio commentary against us, especially the 'handball' by Raggett while having his shirt but over his head and being pushed to the ground...

Just checked my phone and it says it is full time at Cheltenham vs Lincoln but it must be a mistake again because Lincoln once again haven't delivered their promised 2-3 away goals. We managed it a few days before at the same place with a load of rubbish 38 year olds and no decent players. I'll keep checking my app. It's probably a mistake, isn't it Impish? Pretty sure the table will also update and give you your actual points when my app stops being dodgy, too.

I see you hammered the Erics... o hang on...
Can't win them all my fishy friend.
He is aiming it at Impish's ridiculous claim that Lincoln will score 2 or 3 goals at every away game.

Fair enough.
We seem to be joined at the hip in midtable with you guys and Mansfield.
God we need a finisher!

Cheltenham 'keeper MOTM? Not sure whether that's in keeping with the game because it read on the updates as though Cheltenham were better in the first half, with the wind(?), than we were in the second.

Not too disappointed, still nicely placed and Crawley up next, which we really need to be looking to win but they've had a half decent point today.

Our biggest problem is not having someone to take the chances especially the balls across the area a few of those went begging again today from commentary.

He got it because of a couple of fantastic saves in the second half. He was also a very calm head at the back and, those saves aside, we never looked like conceding due to the way he organised the defence. The wind played havoc with the game and we dominated the first half because of it, with Lincoln dominating the second. We appeared to have a couple of better chances against the wind than Lincoln did though.

Raggett not getting the penalty was rough justice to be fair - if the ref had given that he'd have given about 9 or 10 against Raggett in the first half. I've heard of wanting to swap shirts after a game, but if it wasn't Danny Wright's he wanted, it was Brian Graham's. I've never seen so much shirt grabbing in my life - his dissent was shocking as well and he was very lucky to stay on the pitch.

It was just the performance we had been crying out for after the last two games, and was (in my view) a great advert for League 2 football with both teams giving no inches and really going for it from the off.

Yep, it's almost like I haven't been talking shit all pre-season and over the last few months when I've been saying you lot aren't as good as you thought you were and that we're not as bad as some of you were saying!

I'll be happy if were about where we are on January 1st and spend the money we have on 3/4 new faces mainly upfront but we will need a defender especially Raggett's loan is not extended by Norwich.
