Injuries have definitely caught up with us, we were too negative and scared to attack. Once Portsmouth took a hold of the game after the first 15-20 minutes then it was a cruise from there on in, complete level above the team we had out there today.

I'm pleased Pompey won today because it seems that every time they have looked to have cracked it and are on a roll, they chuck in a poor home performance against a team they would expect to beat not soon afterwards and we play them at Fratton on Tuesday.

We absolutely crushed Colchester today. It could have been more than four but we simply have to reproduce this kind of performance in front of our own fans if we're going to get promoted automatically.

Great result, missed 3 of the 4 goals but managed to get some intermittent commentary on a train, sounded like we were clinical and ruthless which is really encouraging, even if it was a depleted Colchester side.

Belief is starting to creep in, but it's all about whether we can turn our home form around now.. Stevenage next weekend suddenly looks like a massive game too. Would happily take a win and a draw from the next two, but no doubt Pompey will continue to make things as difficult as possible for themselves
