Think his girlfriend might be from the NE. He's never going to get a game at Rovers while Mellon's in charge.

Have we got ourselves a good un' Boz. He seems to have been about a bit for a 24-year-old.
Looking at his appearances for other clubs.

Our former CB Tony Diagne has signed for Barrow. Nice lad but crap footballer.

Desperate attempt to plug some massive gaps caused by injuries.
I've always thought he was crap, but I remember him getting man of the match against us for Macc once.

Never seems to settle anywhere. We loaned him as one of the better players in a Kiddy side that fought back to a 2-2 draw in Birkenhead and he did well until injured without tearing up any trees. Mellon brought him back but gave him little game time and Adam failed to impress when given the chance.

He's got the talent but mental issues seem to hold him back. Don't expect too much.

Dover sign an actual midfielder :2thumb:
http://www.doverathletic.com/news/whites-make-loan-signing/
Cambridge United central midfielder Paul Lewis.
Good signing that. Came through our youth team and when fit was part of Askey's first choice midfield. He had a bit more presence than any of our other midfielders and was good in the air. His hat trick against Tranmere basically got him his move to Cambridge where I don't think he's had much of a look in. Should do well for you, although his injury record wasn't great at times.

Quite rightly.

Dawson will look good in his loan spell, get a longer term deal and then do bugger all. Check out his CV for confirmation.

Commiserations to them.

One of the most half arsed players I've ever watched. Just doesn't seem to put any effort in whatsoever, even his throw-ins and kicking look lazy.

We have signed 21 year midfielder Kegan Everington from Grantham Town, formerly of Lincoln City
Not Conference North standard. Should be at a Lincoln United level.

Indeed, he showed a bit of that talent today down at Boston. With some clever one two touches with our forwards that were slightly unlucky at times, took control of the corners, and whipped in some great balls into the area.

Overall he had a decent game for us, our manager took him off in the second half. I'm not sure whether that was due to lack of game time?

Is he available for transfer when his loan spell finishes with us, or does he have plans to fight for his place at Tranmere.

There's no future for him at Tranmere under the present regime, so would imagine Tranmere would be glad to get shut.

It very much depends on how long the present regime lasts. After the Wrexham game, counting in days rather than months.

You might as well keep him on loan a bit, he does better thatway than with the security of a deal.

Ok, well we've got his services for a month. Whether we can afford anything beyond that is another matter regarding a deal. Probably have to release a player or two to bring fresh legs in.

Mark Ellis signs on a two moth loan from Carlisle. Played under Davis at Crewe. Good news, as we've been crippled by having both first choice CBs out. That, and having no midfielders who can tackle. And a terrible left back. And missing sitter after sitter. But other than that we're great.

Pools sign James Thorne, 21 year old striker, very few games and yet to score professionally, last seen at Macclesfield?

We've signed Chris Clements on a three-month loan from Grimsby. Attacking midfielder, but not sure if he can play out wide, as we're badly lacking wingers

That's a pretty good signing tbh. I'd have had him in our team over the ones we have now.

I wouldn't say he's good enough to be a starter. Seems a nice lad though I hope he does well.

MY QUOTES ARE ALL MESSING UP.

We've signed former Charlton and Gillingham midfielder Ollie Muldoon. Scored a cracker against us in the Kent Cup a couple of years back.

Chris Clements should be a good one for Barrow, easily good enough to get in our team so i and most others have got no idea why he isn't doing.
A good player at League 2 level so he should boss it at this level.

Hopefully he's the playmaker we've never really had. Someone to drive into the box or hit a shot from 18 yards.

We've signed Dylan Motley-Henry on loan from Barnsley, joining on Monday.

Mellon has also confirmed we're looking at a total of 4 in this week, the aforementioned Motley-Henry plus 3 other youngsters (rumoured to be from Forest, Burnley and Swansea).
Big statement from Palios - Mellon is going nowhere.

I've no problem with loaning youngsters if they offer something different to what we've got already. However, where possible, we should be giving our own youngsters a chance first. Gumbs, Drysdale Solomon-Davies and Devine all played in the Maidstone win last season. Rokka was signed as one for the future, but is a winger the same as Motley-Henry. Will reserve my judgement in those who come in until I see them play, but recent experience hasn't given cause for optimism. Tollitt aside, those youngsters we've loaned in recent years have made little impact.

Having gone a few games with only one goalkeeper in the squad, we've finally signed another one - Sam Ramsbottom, previously of Barrow and Tranmere

That smacks of being skint if you ask me, we should know. Clubs of that size are generally happy to loan youngsters from their academy to this league for nothing, as in they'll pay their wages.
