Yes. Jack and his twin brother Paul are both poor footballers who both seem to just go to whichever club dad is working with at the time. Both have played for Doncaster, Leeds and Cardiff and have made barely any appearances for any of them.

Similar story with Myles Anderson, though it seems he's finally found a club that will pick him in Hartlepool.

The McKay one stinks of something not right to me. Especially with the circus following his dad around
He won’t be in the first team next year, already been announced that he’ll be in the development team so I’ve got no issue with the signing if Shez says he’s seen something in him

Here was us thinking you'd gone off 'em after you didn't steamroller the league as you predicted.

FYI We've sold just under 2000 latest sales.

If budgets as tight as people say it is just seems a waste of a wage on someone who looked crap last season when on loan.

Give me some credit... I returned with about 3 games left to play of the season
You’d slacked off a bit there then as the previous season in the League 2 forum you came back a full 5 games from the end of the season after disappearing back in September when you realised you were shit.

He is at a football league club, just one on loan to the NL.

He’ll be on absolute peanuts if he’s going into the development team...

And I think saying he ‘looked crap’ is a tad harsh considering he barely got a game.... understandable when he had Boden and Denton in front of him. If Shez see’s something in him, what’s the problem as it’s relatively risk free seen as he’ll be on next to nowt?

Cant believe hes ended up in that league.
Or at York, given his reason for leaving Luton was to be closer to his family on Merseyside. Would have thought a Southport/Chester more likely at NLN level. Should be a decent signing.

Would liked to of seen McNulty stay at Tranmere in some capacity. Great leader on the field and will make a good coach one day.

Alex Lawless has signed for Ebbsfleet - Brave man. Excellent squad player for us last season.

Interesting signing for us, Andrew Crofts as player-coach. He's 35 but has played for Wales and in the Premier League.

Tom Denton is a big lumbering cart horse right? Am I missing something?

Denton did alright you know when Shez came in and played to his strengths. Get good balls whipped into the box from wide positions and he'll nod them all day. He's not great when he's up on his own and your just lumping long balls up to him and expecting him to make something happen. He started to get a decent understanding with Boden as well. I think he's useful at this level

Denton and Boden were excellent at THL last season. One of the best forward lines in the division.

Had our defence sorted for ages so was never on the cards with us. It's old enough as it is with a 34 & 35 year old pairing!

Buxton and Harris released by tranmere they would do a cracking job for any team here

Yeah Dents was brilliant for us under Sheridan... not so much under Martin Allen when he was playing up top on his own!

I’d still personally prefer another striker to partner Boden, with a bit of pace and creativity with Denton then being a very effective option off the bench.

Jay Harris getting promoted from League 2 (and being an integral part) just baffles me. In his last few months here he looked like he was done. His legs looked shot, he’d mistime tackles, the game would pass him by, a complete shadow of the player he once was. Now I wish we didn’t get rid..

The FA Trophy final vs Ferriby is where I first started to see major flaws in Manny Smith. Denton dominated him all game. They’d lump it forward to Denton, he’d hold it up with ease and ship it out to the left side for that winger (whose name alludes me) that ripped Tomassen a new one.

Not strictly speaking a new signing but it feels like it - Carl Dickinson is back at the club and in pre-season training, a few months after being told he was no longer needed and wouldn't be considered for selection. Was told to find a new club. New management are giving him a fresh start, quite rightly so.

You’re right, he looked finished with us. He still looks a liability at times from matches I’ve seen since he’s been at Tranmere and he’ll never change that. His ability on the ball is underrated though, I’d definitely have him back and he would fill a key position for us.
