£25m+ for Benteke would be fantastic. For the right team with the right playing style it would be a good price, the guy can still score over 20 goals a season if the team plays to his strengths. We haven't done so and won't do so, Klopp thinks more about the overall team as a unit rather than what individuals can bring to the table if we play a certain way. It was a stupid price to pay for him in the first place and if we can walk away only losing £10m then it's worthy of celebration.

It's odd because we had an £18mill bid turned down in January and CSKA wanted £23mill and that stance was reiterated when the season was over. The agent said the stumbling block in the deal was his wage as he was on a lot of money in Russia. So someone has caved.
Hopefully he's a good finisher and not just Schlupp with the benefit of being able to use two feet. He's rapid though, which suits us.
