Shady as hell. According to some of the Lawyers TMartn and the other lad are breaking the law. The owned that CSGOLotto website from the start.. Then go on to post fake reactions to winning on it. They didn't disclose they owned the site. Until after all this came out.

Yeah I was looking at the vid, funnily enough I saw it a couple of days ago on Reddit but ignored it as it seemed very clickbaity.
Never knew CS gambling was a thing, that said it's something I would probs have gotten wrapped up in/spunked loads of money on when I was younger

The gambling side of it is worth millions to site owners. Just last month a former pro who was promoting one of the sites via his stream, and being given winning numbers in advance of rolls by the owners, cut ties with them over a monetary dispute and was paid a settlement of $90k. It's obvious why Valve have enabled the gambling scene though. The game was dead and nobody watched the pro scene before the introduction of skins and betting on matches via csgolounge, which allowed it to explode in popularity to the point of a million dollar major being hosted earlier this year. The game is littered with corruption and scam artists looking to make a quick profit nowadays.

CSGO Pro scene itself is shady af. One team bet against themselves and threw the match. Got shit load of money. Then one of them made his own betting site. Top kek.
