This is the best I've seen Everton play in yonks but you still have to say that they're somewhat fortunate to be winning this one. Big save from Pickford following the obligatory Ashley Williams penalty give away.

They're better today, but still not great. If West Ham weren't so awful they would've scored, and not conceded two of those goals at least. That is a great finish by Rooney though.

Robbie Savage was awful on commentary last night. Don't get me wrong, Rooney's goal was good but to call it "goal of the season" is a bit of a stretch isn't it? Hart shouldn't have come out like that and left an open goal for Rooney to smash it in.

West Ham don't look too far off from being a decent mid-table team but look clueless when getting the ball into the box. Arnautovic was absolutely dreadful yesterday too. Is it because he's playing on the right instead of the left? Or does he look ineffective and uninterested in every match that he plays? I never really rated him that highly for Stoke but at least he'd put in a performance once in every five games. He's look pish everytime I've seen him for the Hammers this year.
