We were unplayable today, some of our football was unbelievable. Game should have been over at half time but 3 of their 4 efforts went in, as did their 5th after half time. We were so lax at the back it crossed my mind we might actually still lose when we were 7-4 ahead with 15 still to go. Such is life as a Shayman.

Haven’t checked the scores yet, so how many did we hammer Kiddy by then?

We’re from Derbyshire you weasel, no scabs round these parts

That’s across the border in Nottinghamshire fella. Also, big game against millers? We always beat you so that wouldn’t be an issue, remember the famous 5-0?????
Hmmm not true. FAMOUS fuck me. Anyway only looking in cos i take a passing interest in grass roots football

That was one of the most bizarre games I’ve ever seen. It was a proper cup tie with both teams just going for it. Some of our build up play/goals were a joy to watch. However, some of the defending on show from both teams, mainly for Maidenheads goals was ridiculously bad. Into the next round anyway. We’ll take it.

We were absolute toilet today, so much so that I left before we scored the 2 goals which ensured a replay.

6 of the 17 goals we have conceded this season in league and cup have come against Maidenhead. We keep getting Devonshired today the attack turned up though and the better team won in the end.

Maidenhead know what they are good at and they make the most out of playing that way.

Bowers put up as good a fight as they were likely to be able to today. They did their Club proud - battled really well, very organised and no-one let the side down. No real weak link in the system they played. You know what game you're in for though, when, right from KO, the opposition drop back to the 18 yard box. From GK's, their furthest player was 10 yard in their own half most of the time.

1-0 makes it look closer than it was - the 'keeper made two or three good saves and we hit the woodwork. They had a couple of half chances but never any real danger of scoring.

We've also donated our share of the money from today to them so hopefully that helps them out a bit.

that’s a good thing to do, you’ve earned a shitload in the cup from your run so that’s a class act.

Some proper non league ties in the 1st round, obviously remember us both being down here in the 2nd round playing the replay for the right to play lpool, which was an interesting night.

Yeah, you know like us that didn’t have a fit defender for 5 weeks!, we’ve had ridiculous problems with injuries this season.

Still, after playing a qualifying round for the right to play us, who knows huh! the conference is one tough league this year, right up there with the standards when we won it.

Started the day by pulling into my gym (also a hotel) and seeing the Wrexham team bus parked in the car park.

Seething at the sight of those money bag bastards in my car park, I walked in to let off some steam. Imagine my horror when I saw two members of the coaching staff using the facilities I pay £50pm for, FREE OF CHARGE. By this point I’m absolutely furious.

Get out, cool off, and we lose to fucking Kidderminster.

A day to forget

Halifax should be eliminated as a punishment for letting Acquah score twice

Fuck off you moron

Halifax 2008 about as reputable as Buxton, clown
Well if that's the case, Chesterfield 2021 now in the same tarnished boat as us. We've been getting shit from the non-league community for over a decade for 'not paying our debts', if its sticking in your craw now, you're going to have to get used to it because fans of other clubs are going to be reminding you of your furlough stunt for years to come.

I hope the viewing figures for tomorrows game are terrible after Salford were picked yet again. Even though we narrowly made it into round two, I would rather catch my man privates in my zipper than watch that scum.
