Incredible how casual he sounds. Anyone would think they'd just come up short in a league game after a good run. They've been dumped out by an 8th tier side at home. Yet he sounds like he doesn't have a care in the world as he throws out lazy cliche after lazy cliche. Worryingly tone deaf.

We lost to Dorchester in 2012 I think, when Conor Hourihane got sent off for taking a free kick too quickly!

I dunno what it is, but this fucker winds me up something rotten, so I dunno how Orient fans are feeling, it's like he's been media trained to death and is just knocking out buzzwords and doing a mental check list in his head of all the things to say after a defeat.

Just spent an enjoyable few minutes watching Maldon and Tiptree fans dancing on Orient's pitch after dumping them out of the FA Cup.

What goes around...........

We played second fiddle to Gateshead all game Only thanks to our goalkeeper that we won a game we didn’t deserve to

Don't worry Eric, we enjoyed dancing on our own pitch after we dedicated winning the National League title to you back in April :)

Losing in such a way is only embarrassing if it defines your season. When we lost to Curzon Ashton it was ok (in the end) because we got promoted. When we lost to Warrington it wasn't as we did naff all that year.

Just glad we weren’t drawn against Maldon as we would have lost yesterday to them.

any side that had won 19 and drew one from their 20 games this season can’t be bad even if they play at Step 4.

Their goals were both very well taken...I think there will be quite a few teams in Round Two who would rather avoid them!

Maldon look dangerous on the break, with a pacey front three. That could cause us problems if we get them. That said we're still more likely to beat them than we are someone like Coventry or Crewe. Dulwich caused us problems but for all their pressure we had the quality to soak it up then take our chances. Play like that and we should beat most non league teams.

Oh and Dovers winner was scored by Ruel Sotiriou who is on loan from ourselves - We have two strikers out injured and Fletcher decides to send him out on loan, the fucking braindead c***.

At least he'll be able to bring back a bit of FA Cup playing experience when he returns...:fl:

See Chief, this is what I was thinking of when I saw that Pools weren't giving the job permanently to Sweeney. It's like the Terminator says, the O's were doing alright in the league and were scoring goals for fun until this Fletcher chap took over.

And that Ole/Man U example that the Barrow fan came out with is just nonsense 'cos we're talking lower league footy here not about one of the biggest clubs in the world ("spits")

Solihull would be ok, local game, avoid someone like Gillingham ideally away as that would be dull.

Shrewsbury away if they can beat Bradford or someone like Notts away is ok as an away day.

Be nice for a real non league away day on TV, loved going Shortwood a few years back on a Monday night. An experience that was!

You're forgetting that Solihull are a very physical side and will be no pushovers. And another thing - Vale do travel in good numbers and their away end is really not ideal for such a large following.

Ugh another absolutely shocking draw for us. Zero money, low ground and a two sides we play in the same month!

Grimsby or Newport will be in for a huge culture shock when they play Maldon, the ground is a cowfield and the nearest train station is Colchester or Chelmsford.
